massive, are them onza tires any good?
  2. should be along again, last year was pretty good to have a area to our selfs but i remember issues with it being on a slight hill and the grass being a bit long? will probs go this year aswell though if it is on again
  3. I did'nt send my hub back because i thought they'd just class it as over-tightening, i just put my front wheel down a step and it snapped lol i won't buy another or anything like it because i like my teeth.
  4. Mine were not tight but they were not loose, i made sure the wheel could flex more than usual because before i got the hub i did'nt think the flanges would be strong, i ran a vee brake and set the pads about 5mm from the rim each side so the pads would'nt touch when the wheel flexed, its just a lightweight, it want going to last for ever with flanges like that.
  5. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_tyres/continental_trial_queen/c33p11337.html ring tarty madum up and ask when it'll be back in stock
  6. Yea mine did this, it ripped 3 or 4 spokes out, i just lol'd and builded up the rim and spokes onto a hope hub i managed to get, but yea its a loud noise, did u make sure to loosen all the spokes off soo the rim want shaped funny/buckled? I had mine for about 4 or 5 months till it did it so i want arsed considering it was a really light hub.
  7. I have had the 2.2 one and it punctured really easy and theres less are volume/space for the innertube on the smaller 2.2 tire compared with the 2.4? i ran my 2.2 around 40-45psi and it had very good bounce but i got sick of the punctures replaced it with a rain king, though lately i've been thinking about getting the 2.4 rubber queen or the new trial queen.
  8. in that video he's riding slicks in the wet on round rails?
  9. I have a set and i wear them mostly in winter, but they really do help your muscles, like when failing hooks and jumping back down, this shaks your muscles about, and this is what gives you the ache the next day, the compression tights kinda hold your muscles to your bones if you get me? I find them very helpful when riding for a few days but then my shoulders hurt because i aint got a compression top aha, i want to sure about getting them cause of how i would look, but you can wear them under jeans, track pants and shorts.
  10. awesome mate looks beast, need to go back up kendal some day in the new year, forgot you's lot had started to go seatless againn
  11. Yea i did it with a stanly knife first and later on i used a grinder to make it look nicer ha, but i have considered buying a new tire for the knobbles but am happy with the slick, i find it gives me enough grip as i ride mainly in the dry and the weight saving a want to bothered about, the tire was bald in the middle and i felt the outa tread was making the tire slip so thats why i slicked it. Thank for the comments
  12. saw, file and drilled to give more adjustment because of the new trial-tech chain
  13. hi, had this frame since october and really like it. thanks and merry christmas
  14. I have tryed a conti mountain king on the front and its only advantage is that its light, the grip was ok but not awesome and because it was such a light tire the sidewalls were thin which give more bounce, the new conti trial king is a new improved mountain king for trials, which has the same tread pattern but has "black chilli" rubber and weighs over 100grams more which should improve un-controlled bounce from the tire sidewalls. Should be a sound choice as my back der kaiser with black chilli has mental grip.

  16. Echo tr clamps are sweet, i've had them for months, when i first got them i over tightened them so the cylinder did'nt clamp but if that happens it only takes 5 mins to sort it out with a file. Echo sl's are just as good to set up and your mounts dont have to be perfectly square.
  17. Trial-tech sport if you are a basher and a trial-tech lite if your smooth or lightweight (being less of a basher will prolong the life of the axle from bending) and if you go on rock and roll bikes theres a onza bb thats the same as the one on tarty but you save £10, it looks pretty much the same as a trial-tech bb to be honest.
  18. hmm try-all shoes and echo sl cranks with a speedrace bashring, also a try-all tpa ball n trial-tech chain
  19. I ran a set of tnn's on a smooth for a month or so and at first they did'nt work but it was because the pads were on a angle so i got the sand paper out and sanded them til they sat perfectly on the rim. Clean your rim and use the brake for a day with sqaure set up pads then the next ride just put a tiny amount of tar on and it should be awesome with the tar and after the tar wears away. heatsink yellows and snowies are good pads though, and the i was suprised when matty got the new tnn blue pads on a smooth rim they worked better than the tnn greens
  20. i'd think it'd be fine aslong as all or most of the threads of the sprocket are used
