  1. yea i jumped off as soon as i heard the horrible sound it made but i think the bashring has moved postion which makes me think it threaded, it felt like it threaded as i preloaded and heard the click, the ffw feels stiff now but it did'nt untill it went click but i will have a look at the threads tomorrow
  2. Hey all, As i was out before i heard this loud click as i gapped to front so i went to check my chain links, and spotted that the fixed part of the freewheel has a crack right threw to the crank threads, was wondering if it has threaded the crank in the process of snap/cracking would i be able to get new cranks? because i really dont see why i should have to pay for new cranks when i payed for a new freewheel and its done this! I would ring tarty but thats going to have to wait till monday. Thanks
  3. I find pallets make me try more because they're made of wood and dont bugger the bike and you can easily change the hight, practising serge's is good because you can start with a sort of slant and sidehops you can leave a ledge by slidding the top pallet 2" across that builds my confidence up but now i can do it i'm affraid to put a pallet on top of what i can do now but that hopefully will happen one day
  4. i want some decent ribo's but carnt seem to get hold of anyone that will sell me some?

    Tyres ?

Get front and rear Michelin's they seems to be not to light but not to heavy in my eyes and the compounds actually meant to be alright, or just run rear kasier for best grip with front try-all and if your so bothered about a name on the side of a tire just rub it off so its blank?
  6. proppa beast on that! is that sock/bandage on your left ankle so that your leg dont rub on tire when sidehopping?
  7. Hey, i went out today and in the first 5 mins of warming up my echo sl ffw snapped into 4 peices, i rang tarty up and they said they carnt do anything really as it was outside of the warranty time, so i was wondering should i buy another sl seem as though they're the hype or should i buy something different? Would a ti sl ffw be stronger? and are the tr's not availible any more? Thanks
  8. That was a nice little video, found it funny when you dropped your phone and saved a bail going to front.
  9. hey all this video was made from the last 3 or 4 rides i went to preston.
  10. Got one on my echo 26" with tnn green pads, holds grinds a bit better than the trial-tech rims but the pads are a hard compound which is why i'm going to get some heatsink yellows.

    Echo Clips

just getting the stride of things again
  13. Trial-tech lite chains are decent? i used one for over a month and had to adjust the wheel about 6 times because of how much it stretched got the kmc kool 3/32 now and i've only had to adjust the wheel because of chain stretch 3 times. The der kaiser tire is worth it buying though and it is bouncyier than the rain king, grips just mega carnt be faulted, it is worth £55 I have a friend who has the atomz pads on the rear with a dead grind and there not set up the best but they work pretty good, i think they'd be awesome on a light grind on the front.
  14. get some cutting grease and just force it in?
  15. when i had my 2.2 conti on the rear it needed to be pumped up to like the maximum presure and even then it might still not be perfect. have a a few goes at pumping it up hard till its not to bad then leave it a while?
  16. dont really like leesons but thats actually the nicest bike i think anyone could possibly own.
  17. they seem to be hard to come by in my size, do spd shoes efect grip if you dont have spd pedals? Just want to know if having the bit in the sole matters or not really?
  18. hey all, just went on google for a quick look at some shimano shoes because i've heard they are good shoes to ride with, not sure if people use the spd ones? or are there ones you can buy that arn't spd shoes? because i use try all at the moment but want some good shoes that last longer and that dont fall apart as £75 every 4-5 months is a bit poo! Also where can u buy ribo shoes because i like the lites on tarty but the other models have cool designs. thanks.

    Hs33 Issue

Yea sand your brake pads and put water on the rim and drag the brake for a few seconds then wipe the rim on both sides with clean cloth or kitchen roll the wet it again and leave it to dry. If that dont work regrind your rim with the tire on as when taking the tire on and off it leave rubber/dirt on the rim and try to avoid taking your wheel off your bike to fix a puncture as if the wheel is not in the same place as before taking it off can make the pads un-sqaure with the rim and it they need to bed in again.
  21. best ways probs to go out and learn to sidehop over your "max" height and concentrate on leveling out, when you feel your getting over higher and landing to two wheels a few times try a bigish sidehop without using the front brake soo you learn to go to two wheel
  22. that rim looks good, i'd have one with out the carbon
