So basically I'm screwed!

I'm looking for some feedback/opinions on a frames rear disc mount. I've seen over the years a massive change in the design of frames to accommodate rear discs. I've got a 24UK and like most riders I want to run a rear disc. that is the rear disc mount on my frame is something like an MT6 with a 180mm rotor going to destroy my frame or would it be ok? Bearing in mind I'm not a big hit kind of a rider. Or is a HS33/V brake my only option?

New Brighton is good for riding, loads of rocks to ride down on the front and there's some streety stuff spread around too.

Not really many places in Liverpool that are quiet but there's some good natural spots over here on the Wirral
