  1. i'll let the oil and water settle overnight and give it another flush out tommorrow, its just really strange. i had an epic brake and i fear i may have f**ked it
  2. My mate said try a bath bleed instead, so I'm going to do that tonight and see if that solves the problem. yeah i done an oil bleed first in preperation for the winter but i forgot how much i hate them and started again with water. before i done my final bleed i made sure to completely flush them out about 10 times. and yeah bath or bucket bleeds normally work very well but just not today.
  3. Good evening ladies and gents Right decided to give my maggy a fresh bleed, I have performed countless bleeds on a number of bikes and have never came accross this problem. Basically when I done my fresh bleed the slaves barely move at all when I pull the lever. I bled with a syringe and water I also tried a bucket about 5 times as i thought there must be air in there some where. i am using a 100ml syringe and when you push a full syringe through no air bubble are escaping. What could my problem be?
  4. i dont know if your loking to buy one but i have a brand new carbon fibre magura booster its exactly the same shape and spacing as the boosters you get with evo mounts, il get some later pics if you want
  5. was it this bearing that you bought mate My link
  6. TRIALPROD sell them all My link pretty sure yours is the 130x15 and mine is 145x20
  7. if you are serious about getting into trials i would save up a little bit more money, then wait to be validated and pick up a bike from the forsale section on here. you will get alot more for your money. As for getting the names of parts etc visit www.tartybikes.co.uk and look at the different parts and names on there and it will show you a picture and description of what each part is.
  8. text me on 07703050527

  9. im pretty sure you will need a new bb, i dont know alot about the TT lite, as it happens i have a TT race one for sale which can be used with 73mm shells, only been used for 3 hours £25
  10. i would just go ffw, much more engagment points more reliable and cheaper to buy/replace
  11. SL though thats just because i prefer the weight more central on the bike
  12. the tr is 110mm spacing to allow the use of snail cams you could always stick a 3mm washer either side and use it with tugs until you get your new frame and then replace the washers with cams
  13. its good to see more companies getting into the 24 market, can only be good for the sport, however there is something about the frame that looks plasticy, more like a scaled down model than the actual production bike. Maybe some phots with a real life background setting would make it look better
  14. try these boys parcels2go this is who i always use any questions just pm me and il try my best to answer, basically they deliver uk wide and they come to your house and pick it up for you, so no need to take it anywhere
  15. have watched the video twice now, fantastic riding, and love his smooth and effortless looking style
  16. and if you get it before i come up to ness next il sort you with some decent bars for it
  17. back on topic angus, i would go for the onza blade mate, it allready has a front disc, its cheaper, sealed bearing rear hub, isis cranks and bb, drilled out rims, and the 40 quid you save could be used to buy some decent forks from here
  18. watch the video with the guy doing trials on a carbon road bike, and it would suggest the rider is the most important thing.
  19. not wanting to hijack the thread ross mate. when i fitted the bb to his frame there was plenty of clearance and it ran for a couple of months that way, then from what i was told it had moved and the freewheel was rubbing on the cup
  20. baby boy 8 weeks old mate, sleepless nights and no time for riding is ace lol, I just cant wait till he is older and can ride a bike
  21. there have been quite a few topics in the last few weeks asking the same question, and basically it all comes down to personal preference. they are the same geo, and material but are designed differently.
  22. i always use copper grease on my bb threads, yeah it does come loose from time to time but nothing a quick 5 min spanner job won't sort out, id much rather my bb came loose every now and again than have my bb seize in a frame. when you ride just make sure you carry a crank extractor and a bb tool and you'll be reet
  23. they just didnt seem to have the same hold as the yellows, but they were worn a bit squinty so im gona square them off and try again
  24. what size sprocket do you have up front right now and are the cranks running a chainring or screw on sprocket
