  1. Hi to all, i may be going out to vist my uncle who lives in China, so i was just wondering if anyone knew of any online shops in china that i could possibly order a frame from and have it sent to my uncles house then pick it up when i go out. links would be great I gave google a whirl but came up blank Thanks in advance
  2. i would go for a set of cnc pads like heatsink, phat or tnn. and the echo booster of tarty, those onza adaptors have quite a bit of play in them
  3. my setup has pretty much been the same for 2 years same rim, same brake, tr clamps and always with a booster. both types of TNN's were just lacking something i couldn't quit put my finger on it but they just didnt feel right for me. A few people i know have to use tar with their LGM's to make them perfect, which in my oppinion you shouldn't have to do with a 30 quid pad. I think Kieran made a very good point steering the original poster to the pad review section so he could see why people choose each pad and other factors that make your brake good not just pads.
  4. i like how kenny and alex are jumping on the band wagon now , sort it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have had Monty pads onza citrus plazmatics koxx blues coustsinks heatsink yellows TNN LGM's TNN Belaeys New phat pads and i can honestly say my favorites are the Phat pads with the yellows a close second I think the answer to all these pads questions are that, just because a pad feels good for one person, It doesn't mean everyone will like them. I personally hated both types of TNN's I'm not saying that they didnt work they just didnt feel right to me, but i know so many people that swear by them. My advice buy whatever you think will suit you not just what everyone tells you to get, i made the mistake of listening to everyone raving about lgm's and wasted 30 quid
  5. looking good there harry, i really have to get out soon man, work is taking over my life and my free time is taken up by sleeping or the baby
  6. just gave my brake a bleed with this and it seems very good, nice snappy feel at the lever and my pistons seem to be moveing easier
  7. i had a feeling you would go back to tgs, well done on the video
  8. pics will help us massively with this problem, sometimes you have to tap the bearings in a little further on there own i normally use a spanner or socket the exact size of the bearing and hit it in
  9. i do like the geo of the because 26" but i think the graffics look a little cheap and nasty Edit: just seen the price of the because 26" you cant really complain at that price
  10. from what i remember they wern't available for very long but i do know they are lighter than the standard onzas which cant be a bad thing lol
  11. got myself mixed up larger bottom cup, yeah i guess i can see the advantage of it now, not too sure how well it will go down with the trials comunity, maybe its going to be the next big thing. but its allways good to see new things coming to trials such as rockman with this and echo with the spanish BB
  12. what are the benefits of having the smaller bottom headset cup and taper forks. i have seen alot of xc bikes / forks with this but never understood why?
  13. are the threads completely knackered or just slightly? screw your pedal in from the rear of the crank a few times and this sometimes will clean up the threads allowing you to fit your pedal as normal
  14. and the frame looks nothing like the tractor, but alot like the kortz 2 in tractor colours
  15. has no one else noticed that it says tractor on the top tube not kortz 2
  16. i sanded the piston as if it goes tits up it is alot cheaper to replace the piston than replace the lever body
  17. I have had a problem similar to this before, i sorted it by removing the piston from the lever body and sanding it down a tiny amount each time and refitting it until it was spot on
  18. holy shit balls batman, that was mental, such an awesome vid, some of that riding took my breath away
  19. if they are the 160 or 165mm versions then you cant run a bash and a freewheel, if they are 170 or 175 then you should be fine
  20. ideally you need a new adaptor to change your disc size, altho i have succesfully bodged a 180mm adaptor to fit a 190mm rotor with some longer bolts and extra spacers. To be fair you won't notice much of a difference going from 180mm to 190mm, are you riding mod or stock
  21. cant see the phots manmuck facebook says there unavailable
  22. i use coustsinks on my front vee, they have an good hold a dangerous amount of bite and ear bleeding noise, and the setup is less than perfect, you must be doing something wrong
  23. Pads: new Phat pads Time used: couple of weeks Rim used: try all Grind: Yes Brake used: Magura 05 4 finger, TR clamps TT 2 bolt booster Koxx Coust V2 frame What is you opinion of a working brake: Plenty hold no matter the weather How do they compare to previous pads: Exceptional - i have used LGM's and belaeys, heatsink yellows, plaz crm's, monty pads, onza citrus, koxx blues. (all first hand not on mates bikes) Review: I am now a converted Phatpad man, i am using a SH*T tryall rear rim with the worst grind i have ever produced and these pads still managed to hold my fat ass. the bite is not as intense as heatsink Yellows, but the hold more than makes up for it. there is only a little noise but to be honest this is a bit of a god send. To sum these pads up i was riding in what could only be described as a swamp in the pissing rain my pads and rim covered in mud and the Phat pads lost none of their qualities. In my opinion (only an opinion, so dont get angry all those that swear by TNN etc) these pads piss on anything else out there in trials land I would highly recommend these pads to anyone
