  1. remove the fun bolts and let the axle go right into the drop outs, and try removing a link then you will know either way if it is the bolt heads or something else. I cant think of anything else it could be
  2. could you not just run the chain slightly slack with the brake setup good and hope that it stretches, the chain will stretch more with it slightly slack as there is more of a jerking force on it
  3. i know cocky runs his isis with 18- 15 without a half link no problem maybe just let the chain stretch with some light riding and try removing a link ones its stretched
  4. I know its only a top cap but i need one of those trialtech stem caps in my life. When are they available Mark
  5. I prefer the sl over my king, i know all headsets basically do the same job but the king has quite a hight stack height which leaves less range of adjustment for stem height. and you could buy 3 sl's for the price of a king
  6. look at what Ali said towards the bottom of your topic yes
  7. what questions are you asking that are different to your other topic on this? not getting arsey just wondering why you opened another topic when the answers to these questions have allready been answered in your other topic
  8. i have bought both the trialtech and the one on chain and they are identical. mine has lasted very well and im a heavy bloke. i bought 2 of the kmc ones from chain and the spare you get left over was enough to make a third chain so in essence you would be getting 3 chains for 20 quid
  9. Hi mate apologies about the brake, it was working tip top for me. however i do know what has happened, in fact it has happened to 3 of my previous maggies, completely at random. As said above pop the piston out and give it a good clean and lube, pop it back in and it should be fine again. If that doesn't sort it, pop the piston out again and sand a tiny bit of the piston and keep refitting until its sorted. If that doesnt work, you can send it back to me and il sort it out for you. Sorry again. EDIT - beaten too it with the solution

  13. i wouldnt file the tabs of your acs claws as i did it when i first started trials and when the time came to replace the freewheel i couldnt get it off as the tabs were gone lol
  14. The acs claws freewheel has the removal tabs that stick out from the freewheel instead of sinking in like most others, a different freewheel should sort you out. Any chance you could whack a picture up so we can see the problem better just to confirm this.
