  1. What model of hub out of interest?
  2. The thing is, most policies say that if the bike's not secured with a lock of a certain anti theft rating, the policy is void. So having it nicked while you buy sandwich etc wouldn't be covered unless you lugged a D lock around with you, which no one does. I doubt many people ever leave their trials bikes locked up for long periods outdoors anyway? The insurance I had for my XC bike required me to buy a Kryptonite D lock and send in the receipt in order to make a claim...
  3. There are a fair few guys on here (+ me) who are several inches taller and ride mods. Any medium/long mod frame with a longish stem will be fine. You could say it looks a bit silly, but that's your call.
  4. The 'left it at your Mum's house' line is my current favourite.
  5. Really like it, including the gold bars. A gold King/hubshell will finish it nicely.
  6. To answer the thread title... yes MSN and OWA both working fine for me
  7. Coming from a child writing in bold, underlined italics ^^
  8. You really do churn these videos out! First half was completely epic... definitely your best video yet overall Shame about the tree!
  9. Try twisting your body in the opposite direction that you plan to spin and crouching. Turn your head as far round as possible and jump up to start the spin. It's all about how you coil up your body... feels a bit unnatural at first but even with a flat spin you can get well past 180 degrees
  10. Tar will make it 3 times noisier than it already is.
  11. I picked up some Decathlon shorts in Paris last year which I've been using on my MTB and trials bike. A little bit of padding but dead comfy, look good and only cost €20
  12. The back ends of most Onzas are very flexy - putting a decent booster on will reduce noise considerably.
  13. The tyres and the dice look shit. Otherwise a nice bike
  14. I'm sure you have infinitely more experience with BBs than I have, but the Neon did look like it'd had a rough life considering it was new. The other BBs I've received from Tarty have both been in excellent condition. I can post the pictures I sent Adam if you're interested. Absolutely - I'm very happy with my Trialtech BB (and also how helpful Tarty is being with all this)
  15. Can't say I was particularly impressed by the Neon. It was pretty scuffed up out of the box and not that smooth. The Try-All was actually very nice and dead smooth, but was damaged by the LBS during fitting as the ends of the splines were covered by the alloy spacers meaning that the spacers were forced into the bearings by the cranks as they were tightened... sent it back to Tarty yesterday. Maybe they fitted the 128mm spacers to the 122.5 model in the factory? In the end I just went for a Trialtech which is light, has replaceable bearings and seems pretty decent though not to the standard of the Try-All. Thanks to Tarty for their patience and service.
  16. My 60 Click tensile died in 3 months. Now replaced with a Rockman 72 click which has already started skipping. Wait and get the SL!

I thought Tunnicliffe rides stock I thought that was pretty epic actually, but yeah get a helmet.
  18. Loved all the straight to rear wheel stuff. Most riders rely on the frenchies for big stuff, but you just don't need to! Big riding
  19. You could spend days trying to identify the problem without getting anywhere. Providing the hardware is working properly, a clean install of Vista should get rid of the problem. But I too recommend another OS, be it Windows or Something Unix based (Ubuntu, OSX etc)
  20. It's probably just a sticky seal. And obviously check that the bearings are free from play and that the wheel is tightened. If everything is done up properly and it still happens, your brake needs some TLC
  21. I'm a left foot forwards person and I sidehop the same way... Is what you're saying true? The other side feels incredibly unnatural!
  22. Loved it! The table gap was huge.Nice bike too.
  23. Really nice. Your crossover looks worryingly kinked though.
  24. We've been creating recombinant DNA bacteria for years, and have synthesised artificial plasmids which we've then inserted into bacteria (pGLO etc.). This is the next step and is exciting not because what's going on is fundamentally that radical, but because it was not thought to be possible in practice. As a biotech student, I hope this research is allowed to continue.
