I'd go for for something made of 7075 alloy if possible... Not sure I'd trust 6061 for something as abused as a crank/bb interface

I've got the same bike and have just shelled out on new ISIS bb & cranks. Does it still creak immediately after you've tightened it? If so you probably need new cranks at least. Otherwise, hopefully Loctite will do the trick. I've never ridden for long with loose cranks, used Loctite and for the last few weeks have been bringing an 8mm allen key for all my rides. The creaking has been getting worse despite me running them tighter and tighter. Square taper combined with soft crank alloy isn't a good combo, ISIS ***. If you are going to get new cranks, 7075 t6 alloy is what you ideally want as it's a lot stronger than 6061

I'm guessing you're looking to spend as little as possible which is why you suggested the neons and onza citrus pads... I'm running yellow Neon mod pads atm and am pretty pleased. Lots of bite with medium hold. Add some tar and they're rock solid and very loud. If I were you I'd be tempted to go for some Rockman greens. My pair's still in the packet, but I've heard lots of good things about them and the compound feels about right. Anything is going to be better than the standard black pads.

They're just GRP pedals with a bit of marketing speak thrown in for good measure. But if they turn out to be decent I might be get a pair as they'er pretty damn light... and cheap.

Just bear in mind that if you buy online, you might have to send it back to get a different size/model (obviosuly). Generally freeride style helmets give the best coverage/protection without being full face... I've seen the Fox Flux (on Tarty) in the flesh and was impressed. Sadly my weird shaped head means it doesn't fit

Do we need really to go there... it'll end in tears. I would definitely recommend a clean install. You get a nice clean registry (among other things) and you're less likely to run into problems in the short term as well as further down the line. It's a pretty tedious process though.

Left foot forward, goofy, right footed and right handed But I'd say my left leg is stronger than my right... Would be interesting to see if all these things are linked.... I think you favour you strongest leg. I injured my right knee a while back and still tend to put more strain on my left leg during walking/exercise etc to compensate. I think that's why I'm a lefty for trials.
