  1. ahhhh I see try it without, then try it with and see if you can feel/see the difference
  2. I guess you should be alright without it then, do you have any troubles with your brake slipping or your frame flexing? I guess putting a booster on won't do any damage, but it might just be dead weight and money spent with no real advantage
  3. does the brake make your frame flex a lot when you pull it? It's usually worth doing, Although some frames have boosters built in these days, dunno if the GU is one of them so maybe somebody will correct me here
  4. trialtech The reason is in the name
  5. HS33 with heatsink backing and coust pads, soon to be heatsink reds bled with water
  6. What lawnmowerman said, give them a sand to get rid of the crud, after a while they end up pretty slippy when full of brake dust, sanding them cleans it off and also roughens up the surface a bit which gives you good bite also clean your rim
  7. PM an admin then, but it sounds more like tech problems his end than a problem with his account, since his account info won't dictate how the page loads, in theory
  8. Internet explorer, firefox, opera etc are all types of browsers OR Is he trying to access the forum on a phone? When I come here on my iphone it gets stripped down a lot, if you scroll to the bottom and select "click here to manually select a theme" it fully renders the forum in the usual manner, providing your phone can deal with it
  9. his account is stuffed? you mean his browser is screwed ^^ Try a different browser
  10. do you have a grind on your rims, and what brake pads are you using? A grind really helps because regular unground rims become REALLY slick in the wet and brake pads just slide straight off them
  11. sweet! I've never worn anything other than that so it's good to know I can still get one when I get rid of this
  12. this might be your best bet: http://www.biketrialuk.co.uk/TykeTrial.htm I don't know a lot about comps but i always hear about tyketrial so have a look
  13. my old trusty giro xen still serves me well. do they still make these?
  14. They make your brake stiffer and eliminate frame flex obviously a flexy frame will eventually lead to metal fatigue and that leads to cracks and snaps
  15. why? in what way is time even nearly relative to how good you are? I know guys who've been riding far less time than me but who are way better than me. You think grapes are good for your brakes, just shut up. Go for it if you wanna try comps, try the easy route. If it's too easy for you, try the next one up, get a feel for what class you should be in. Most of all, just enjoy it. Don't let it get to you and ruin your trials experience, just go have fun and try your best.
  16. I did ..I am pretty awesome though.
  17. I'm afraid that with an introduction and mission statement like that, you'll probably never ever sell your bike on here The whole point of the validation system is to allow useful contributors into the forum and coming along JUST to sell your bike (and telling everybody that's your only aim) will never get you validated did you even read the rules?
  18. could be that, I did do a fair bit of downloading a few weeks ago, way more than I usually do still, faggotry.
  19. Both wireless and wired it's slow I cleared cache, I think i hit the clear cache button on firefox but didn't really get any kind of notification that it had been done, which seemed weird because firefox brings up an alert box for EVERYTHING you do usually
  20. Good old richard branson... Wonder who my neighbours are with? I might do better to leech off them for a bit
  21. This is basically what I was told a week ago by a mate Street is a lot of backwheel tomfoolery, natural is a lot more 2 wheel based We're gonna go ride some natural at some point, i've never really done it before so should be a laugh
