No seriously, you actually think the difference between insulating tape and sellotape wrapped a few times round a wheel will be measureable? if insulating tape is indeed heavier, the difference per wheel will probably be about a gram.... get somebody to hold the wheel like a pair of forks then?

Insulating tape is better, it's more pliable and tends to shape itself to the contours of the rim better Turn your bike upside and put the wheel in the forks so you can rotate the wheel with one hand and hold the roll of tape with the other dead simple once you get the hang of it

That's a pretty big question to ask to be honest dude, especially with different manufacturers putting things together differently generally speaking, if you dunno what to do with a part you have, but you know what part it is, google to try and find out about it but asking for an overview of the whole maintenance side of a bike is a big thing

If it's meant to be used with DOT fluid, I'd say no If it uses mineral oil, I guess it might be worth a go? Just remember to lube up your seals now and again so they don't die as quick I don't accept any responsibility if it goes wrong though

If both parties are gonna do pretty much the same thing, I'd rather that we DON'T have gordon brown leading it again, I'd like to have a prime minister who contains at least 10% usefulness I'll probably write "chuck norris" at the bottom of the paper and tick next to that.
