This. Last time i got grief was when i tried to get into the seafront lift in Ramsgate. Ten minute walk round and up a big hill or ten seconds in the lift, no one about so not getting in the way, bike clean off we go.....until the ice cream woman literrally chases me down the hall, looks at me like i'm pissing on her kids then actually barges past me and physically blocks the door. Game on.......give her a nod, press the call button. She then sprints back up the hall, comes back waving keys telling me she is turning it off? Then couldn't help goadng a bit over council tax which and public services and needing lift police uniforms. Some people ask for it At the other end. Possibly the same day i had a bloke who'd been on the sea wall with his mate walk past and ask if i competed and was genuinely interested, proper grown up as well

If the ratchet is man enough this is surely as good as it can get? 204 ep's?! Might even be to much!

Of course they can, but cant imagine any of them winning a tallest person contest. I thought maybe a 24 as more than anything some of the kids bmx style might cross over well to the style of riding perhaps keeping the interest there if he's still learning backhops after 3 months getting cheesed off -
Oh no, brakes straight on. Want a bb7 front and v on the back. Got an avid arch rival i could put on. Big list coming up in wanted!
-
That'll be top budget. Got about 200 to finish it. Need rear wheel and brakes. Could benefit from bars. Suggstions? Pro 2 rear obviously!
-
Already got an ashton effect frameset that only needs a rar wheel and brakes to roll. Might be best of just upgrading this?

he may be 12 but at 5ft 6 already a mod may not last that long. If he is into bmx maybe a 24 would be good, second hand onza zoot or ashton effect or anything else that falls into that budget? -
Moved my old levelboss on to get a 24, may have around 400 to spend, what will I get for my money? Really want a decent spec so would also consider a streety 26 as well, anyone any ideas?
-
Sounds like post mount put up a pic. If you need w bracket get on the a2z website then google the part number. Make sure you measure the mounts centre to centre to get the right size

Anyone used these for plenty of time for trials? Would quite like some wheels I can swap between my trials bike and freeride bike if I wanted to. I know pro 2's are where its at but as i say, quite fancy the option! Am i right in thinking they are 36 point freehubs? Thanks
-
i need something to replace the axle in my shimano hub b trying to use a retrofit disc mount but need a bolt on axle or a hollow to screw into. Anyone able to suggest anywhere or make one for me? Cheers
-
specialized tactic. Extended coverage down the rear, (which i think is an Absolute must in case you loop off the back wheel) and frequently on ebay new or nearly new. Go for ten to twenty five quid. I was going to get one at0have ended up with a brand new giro switchblade which has a face guard that can be attached as i want something for freeriding as well!
-
I just did a swap dal for an effect and you will need to change the rear wheel and brakes straight off as they are shite. You'll need a front disc, i was gonna run v's but they are 26' forks.the cranks seem ok as does headset, stem and bar. If standard i certainly wouldn't pay more than two hundred. I swapped a 10 yr old levelboss with average spec keeping a couple of my better components for mine!

are the sas rims v brake compatible. Just read on the site they are totally powder coated and only anodised are rim brake rims?
-
Yeah its a trials on a sas rim. Whats the differenve between the two, is it 48 instead of 36 engagement?
-
rim hub or both? just bought a pro 2 on halo rim :>
-
trying to find wheels for my new 24. Hopes are a little over my budget secondhand. Got about a hundred or to spend on a rear or a set which I'd prefer to keep the bike looking good. Anyone used halo's?

Dude, put it on here! Mail the mods, see if they will open a sub thread or actually a readers write in general or something? -

my point exactly, even they probably wouldn't bother, the only riders who don't know about tarty also wouldn't know about the mag living under a rock in a desert or something. A rolling online zine is best of both. Info with the odd bit of reporting/writing -

more so, magazines make money from advertising, who but tartys would be interested. Last few mags i've bought i haven't even seen a single trials component in established companies adverts. Why not start a thread on here? An articles thread, a continuous, single issue as it were. All the results and kit talk is covered in trials chat. If your a bit of a journo and want to report stuff, competitions, big rides or new talent then why not write something and upload? Even better you can include videos of what your talking about? Anyone could report on anything, as long as people don't take the piss and write what they know is utter toss and on the flipside, those who contribute aren't mocked then it could work pretty well?
