  1. Look the nuts and i actually liked the amount of flex the rubber legs gave. Had the bike til 8 years ago, want it back!
  2. If it slips out then thats a fault surely? Is this on the diamond back frames?
  3. Thanks guys. Hoping to get another pashley, not keen on investing in new as with shit health, 2 kids and a full time job i don't get to ride so much. Few pashley irons in the fire. Would get a twitch downstairs if i found some tfi's to stick on it
  4. Quite right, should have known, watched it the other day!
  5. The tongue bros debut in mbuk.jumping across a canal lock and riding that rock face the martyins rode in dirt. After watching chainspotting did anyone consider porthcawl to be of more significance than the wailing wall? mecca was in the west! Speaking of mbuk, wtf. I was in hospital all last month and someone kindly bought me a copy.............the only trials related bit was director of danny macs industrial revolutions being interviewed, no hip hop, nothing! not even trials parts or bikes advertised, its that tartys doing?
  6. wishes insome ways that i was still teenager rolling with my mates every night on the seafronts eating ice cream from mcd's and spinning round all the time on my pashley. the remember when thread has a lot to answer for

  7. Did this get sold. Can't see a date
  8. This is making me really pine for my old pashley anybody got one or something similar? Gonna go watch tricks and stunts now
  9. Really would you sell them? If so how much? Have you got the disc mounts with them?
  10. Hop idol! I was actually jn that first one. Was awful. Giles wolfe, barry deeks ( what happened to him ) and steve behr came to ramsgate and shot us. It was pissing down by the end. Stefan tried fishing off a telephone box and smashed into the ground. I couldn't ride the section for shit, the up dan peppin did was about half the published height but tom newbold won, rode bike and came second but got on the team as the winner was considered a universal benny. We got that by chance as i bought some grimeca discs of giles which bust so i rang him for spares and he said he wanted to do a shoot down here. Nxt year i dj'd the mad stand with tom riding whilst on a constant supply of red bull. I think we battered saracens ceo that night to with plastic bottles (with rob weaver who'd wandered round dribbling holding anybodys hand all day playing the partof a window licker) a south african guy that said spares so it sounded like spears. That was about the time xtort and xcels were trials frames with use tfi forks. If i can find the mag i'll post pics Use tfi's. I think everyone wanted them because they were so bloody expensive. They flexed and creaked like mad, i liked them on my pashley but think they would be hated today. Ah, the good old days when a hope 36 eng hub was unreal
  11. Dont suppose your bored of this are and want to part with it in exchange for a koxx levelboss frame?
  12. Hi Used to ride a pashley years ago, got back into riding last year or so, got a koxx levelboss as i wanted to ride more natural pure trials but still love street and miss a cro-mo frame. So can anyone jog my memory as to what frames there are i can chase past and present. Pashley would be perfect but anything 26 or 24 would be of interest Thanks
  13. Hi posted on your fs topic

  14. HI Does anyone have any idea's how I can view the whole of the forum on my nokia n8? Used to be able to view everyhing and post and reply on my much older sony phone, but the new phone designed for web browsing wont? Do i need to download a plug in or somethng, advice appreciated as I sit on it at work a lot in free time and now I cant see any for sale stuff or post anywhere. Thanks Kevin
  15. The height is fine and to be honest the length isn't so bad, a little more would be better but if i could get the stem down to the headset so I can cut the steerer a little lower and get a bit more clearence that will help,i'll feel like there is a bit more room, might just be psychological? Cheers
  16. Hi Guys Dont want to sound like someone who allows the forum to entirely dictate how I run my bike...... But.... I'm thinking of putting a mod (try all nuc 150 x 30) on my old stock koxx levelboss feels quite cramped compared to some of the more modern bikes I've had a spin on over the last 6 months. I've got a viz stem which is around 100 x 20 with some fairly low rise zoo bars. I've a few spacers up the steerer under the stem, I was going to ditch them and run the longer higher rise stem to give myself a little more clearence when the bike goes vertical when gapping etc, always feel reluctant as keep thinking i'm gonna smash my unit into the stem cap. Good idea or bad idea, is it fundamentally flawed? The wb is only 1065 so even with that long stem surely the reach is comparable to a longer wheelbase bike? I know that it will feel heavier to lift the front wheel but hope it will improve feel on the backwheel Fairly sure CS's are near enough 390mm, bb is about +40 as i've got some m.a.d forks which are pretty long. Included a fairly bad pic of the bike to see the geo, pointless probably, helpful maybe? Opinions welcome, cheers

    Tpa

Is it slipping the threads or jammed? First remove the blade from the body, then just wind it in the + direction until it drops out,the wheel and 'bushing' bits will drop out. Reverse to refit. If its jammed then put the pin in a vice, tighten it up,then lift the lever away from the vice, put something over it to extend it if you need extra leverage. The tpa will be wrecked but if its jammed up its probably done for already?
  18. Not sure what answer i was expecting, wasn't that though!
  19. What in the name of christ needs 4000 ton of pressure?
  20. I had one a few rides after starting back, old adidas allstars and rain make for comedy banana skin slippage as i found out when i over tucked a weeny gap i was trying to make.felt sick instantly.......partly through pain, some through thinking i could see my shin bone, mostly by thinking i had my shin pads in my bag which i hadn't bothered putting on. Bled so much, to the amusement of the mrs,i nicked one of her 'lady towels' and taped it to my shin, looked stupid but couldn't fault the logic,no blood all over the bed! Trust me,looks stupid but if you haven't got a whacking great dressing to put on its the next best thing! Monty boots were out the next week, davos sole, like on the ribos, for those in the know!
  21. This, the most impressive bit, to a layman at least, would have been when he gapped down from up on that beam which must have been best part of twenty ft? What did they do,zoom out as far away as possible......useless, the filming on that other thing with keith lemon was equally as poor, britains best riders and the best shots were of them on the rear wheel hopping about just in front of the singers.......real shame, joe was robbed, the piano guy was good but he wasn't 'best act of the night' ......you just knew it was gonna go to deadlock, real shame but top effort joe, good ambassador for the sport
  22. I dont think joe will be getting "terminated"......if thats the standard he's through!
  23. Windridge are pretty good,(up in the link above) i enquired about my old frame but sold it instead, think they quoted me about ninety quid?
