  1. orange zero http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Orange-Zero-Trials-Frame-and-26h-Mavick-DH-Rim-/280682887155?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item415a00f7f3
  2. Try a short scaffold bar,the type used on the ends of each lift as a handrail? I know it means finding a nice scaffolder who'll lend a bar but that's the sort of think that will work. Are you putting the crank in the vice or the bb tool? Are you bolting the tool on through the spline so it cant slip?
  3. Shit.....just realised that its half nine and still light enough to be riding. Once again summer will pass before without me making the most of it, injury sucks!

  4. Try ebay, sure i've seen an ashton cannondale on there last day or two, might have finished now though?
  5. +1 for the davos sole, mental grip and hard wearing. Stopped riding for years but their probably ten year old now and been ridden in for at least three? Shoe is still ace other than the velcro closing is starting to give up a little and the sole has a long life ahead of it still
  6. I think avid bb7, cheaper, simpler, just as good as any hydraulic I've ever used
  7. sections complete with 178 falls..........I hate how addictive this is.....
  8. That guy above is right, those bikes were the shit when they landed here,i remember seeing nelson reis and shaun someone or other come over and shred the demo's at bike 2000 or 2001 i think it was. Amazing how fickle things are and how quick the sport has moved on? The next best things only minutes away all the time? If your going to sell it split it.mags have got to be worth at least 60 upwards,if the are pre 05 they might even get more,a bulls eye for the cranks,at least, wheels are more than a ton and you've still got the frame kit to sell? What's the geo on the frame do you know? My mate had one and they felt so stable on the back wheel!
  9. that video is mega, i'd buy that on dvd. Its not just the riding that makes it so watchable, the way its been filmed counts as much. Is there anyway you can film seasons and produce round ups or something like that at the end of the seasons? Are these videos expensive for you to create? Dunno about everyone else but I'd be willing to donate a bit of $ for each vid you create? It'd be great to get to these events, thats the next best thing!
  10. I dunno, not sure why you would? only just started riding again, used to ride ramsgate, hernebay, whitstable yil about 9 years ago? cany say I recognise your name mate?

  11. Is this a repeat of last series or has a new one been made?
  12. That was the reason I started the thread after spending ages trying to get mine off! Bump for any noobs who haven't seen this
  13. wont be riding for at least 4 weeks.....curse you torn ligaments of the right ankle

  14. Are they use tfi's on the prototype bike?
  15. Same here with the family matters. Samphire hoe is the furthest i've got from home that day i came over with you frank and scott, and that was only half hour. Will be up sometime this summer as franks said its pretty good but probably just the once!

    Shoes

I've got some old monty boots, bit pixie like but they have a davos sole, which i think the ribos had, they must be about 9 year old now but been ridden in for about 3 year maybe a bit more and still in great condition! Any shoe with a davos sole.i started wearing them again after i did the same thing as you!
  17. Try staying off the brakes when your stationary,i always used to be clamping them on when really i should/could of been trackstanding on the drivetrain saving my arms!
  18. First generation koxx levelboss 1065! Might need to go longer soon though!
  19. I did all that with the addition of a can of red bull at the start, rode some natural stuff the best i ever have! Hip hop is the best in the headphones, for my riding at least, its the right sort of pace!
  20. not ridden in two weeks.......curse you work

  21. Thats just one that came up on his channel, there are like 25 or so I think. The riding wont blow you away, far from it, there's a bit of comedy in his offs but just thought I'd post it so anyone getting the arse whilst trying to get the basics can see its not just them that found it hard. I've skimmed through most and it was kind of interesting to watch the progression......at least I thought so
  22. Just something I found on youtube, its an aussie guy, Bob, who's 50 years old and has been learning to ride! Think there are about 25 parts starting with trackstands moving on to sidehops towards the end. Might provide a bit of encoragement for any noobs, this proves you can teach an old dog new tricks ( meant in a nice way! ) The link below is to his youtube channel! Videos are quite well made to, some top comedy stacks in there to! http://www.youtube.com/user/surfcoast
  23. Bb7 for sure mate, less bother in the long run, cables are easily available and cheap, cant leak and are easy to set up.i've got an xt lever that feels nice but reckon an avid would be better!
  24. I have a 203 rotor with a bb7 mounted on an a2z bracket on some saracen forks no problem! Not sure if i added a couple washers to the calier bolts though to space off a little more?
