  1. I thought 'where are the f**king tissues?!' to be honest
  2. The noise is wholely from the pad, there is so much force being transfered that as the pad grips, the wobble means that the pad is not touching the rim with 100% of its surface so the engery is also expelled as noise as the friction increases on the part of the pad that is still making contact with the rim. what does change the noise is different types of rims. Although the noise would and does reverb through the frame and slaves different types of frame would not make such an audible difference as the noise from the rim normally covers it up, basically.
  3. the actuall noise comes from pad wobble as mentioned before. A harder pad will wobble more, and therefore make more noise. A booster will give better hold but will have a negative effect on bite (if any), making less noise.
  4. The f**k? http://answers.yahoo...25132538AASeaGB
  5. you can run a chris king 'devolution' headset system which allows you to run 1/14 forks in a 1/18 headtube

  8. if you have to ask, its proaly not safe. In this case I wouldn't run it. Have you thought about contacting JAF Bikes about a steerer tube extention?
  9. It was aimed at the dude above who had just posted the video of the german dude jumping onto the ice which was totally new and original, I just forgot to press the quote button.
  10. ^This. There's no point running a gyro, so much effort to install on a trials frame and a pain in the ass to set up too.
  11. really want a hat for my beardy after this and the animal impersonations video, where'd you get it from?
  12. looks like a believeable prototype for the Echo Tr lever! trued a wheel with a pen, some gaffer tape and an adjustable before now, Also took a 16" wheel off my old mini mongoose over to Halfords for a true, they said it wouldn't straighten out so I did it in my back garden with two paving slabs, for ages I was straightening my wheel on my Inspired by stomping on it when it caught on my brake; in the end I just took them off! I ran a mono trial with the reach adjuster thing wound all the way in because i snapped the end off, I've re-threaded crank arms by screwing the pedal in the wrong way and used the same technique with a stem, Im currently running an upside-down Onza stem on my fixie and a hope seatclamp with a regular sized bolt by using the cracked head of the hope bolt as a washer! I've run a spoke tensioner for a while as well. I think thats all of them!
  13. shit gets me laid. only joking it makes girls ask why I walk like I shat myself because my ankles are so f**ked!
  14. pinkbike.com is fairly good but they tend to be way overpriced on there unfortunately You could also try putting up a wanted ad on here? I don't know exactly but anything before 2011 is what you want really!
  15. as above really, your best off looking for an older Fourplay as they have the same geometry as the Element anyway but come up for sale much more often.
