  1. go to the bike hut and there should be bicycle specific brake cleaner, it comes in a can.
  2. yeah you have converters already, but you don't need them as you already have proper magura mounts, hence the 4-bolts on your forks/frame, so you need to buy some of these: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/brake_clamps/c74.html
  3. I looked at the Ace but I think I prefered the Classic. Probabaly gonna go for the Classic then.
  4. definately go with Thule, although i don't really see the poinit in the aero stuff; it ruins MPG no matter what in reality
  5. I already have a TK-2a if I wanted a military flare I'm afraid, plus I find the tinted visor is quie handy on those long summer days.
  6. glad to hear that, have you tried any other helmets?
  7. Hi all, basically I'm looking for a new 'piss lid'/BMX or skate style helmet as my old Bell Faction has finally died a death. I was looking at a POC but they're a bit pricey plus I can't get any colours I would really like in my size. Also looked at a Pro Tec Classic, anyone got any feedback for these? If you could tell us what lid you'd advise and why that'd be awesome Dave
  8. Yeah dude I saw, thanks, I posted it on here when we first came up with the plan. Just thought a little bump wouldn't hurt.
  9. UP UP UP!!! MORE RIDERS WANTED!!! It will be good I promise
  10. ahh Adam said something like the oxygen in the water becomes noticeable. I think he said to attach a hose to the bleed nipple and give it a squeeze to force the air out, not 100% on that though, sorry
  11. As per title really. I'll get the ball rolling; 'The Dark Knight Rises', 'Gone In 60 seconds', 'Lord of the Rings'. Away you go
  12. anyway isn't this whole '50mph bus' thing the plot to a film?
  13. Thanks Dr Dave, I'm no longer confused
  14. I was trying to say does jumping up whilst stationary make any difference; if I jump up while it's still and it starts moving when i'm in the air? also are the results different between me and the R/C helicopter because I can't hover? So if I take off an R/C helicopter on a bus travelling at 50mph it will stay still as well? or were you saying there's a difference between me and the helicopter because it can use it's energy to hover?
  15. Scott Wilson runs 54Sport, he's from Lydd, but I'm sure that if you're willing to travel he will probably trade face-to-face. A friend of mine recently bought Tibbs Cycle Store in Canterbury who rides trials so I'm sure he has plans to start stocking bits and bobs, also he's going to be renaming it Kent Cycles or Cycle Center or something . And in my town (Ashford) theres a new-ish shop called 'Spiral Cycles' who stock Onza (most shops do now-a-days) and apparently can order in Inspired now.
  16. I'm now confused: If i take off a remote control helicopter at traffic lights while stationary, as I pull forward the car will travel around it and the helicopter will end up shattering the back window right? And it would be the same if i did it at 50mph, correct? Theoretically, my body is performing the same action as the helicopter if i jump on the bus, because I'm using energy to travel directly upwards as well. So why do I not travel? Is it because the helicopter can use it's energy whilst in the air to maintain the same position, whereas I fall back to the ground?
  17. Don't see any reason why not! Just make sure you don't get any splinters from the fibres; carbon splinters are painful as fooook.
