  1. I've got quite a high stack height already, the fork is pretty short, i think im gonna get a Echo Urban, it feels like most of the time my weight is on the front wheel and the headangle is pretty steep because of the short fork.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usPXSb-GBVE Some of todays riding. Watch in HD!
  3. what i mean is that the angle on the headtube is quite steap because of the short fork.
  4. Yeh i was having second thoughts about doing it after i posted, its just thet my front end is quite low and its pretty hard to manual looks like im gonna have to buy some echo urbans what a shame.
  5. I was wondering if it were possible to put a spacer underneath the crown race on my fork to make by bike a bit higher upfront, my current fork is 395mm axle to crown so if i put a 5mm or 10 mm spacer under the crown race it would make the front end higher, I'm not really sure it might weaken the fork. this is my fork. 6. I don't think T-Pros had a flared bit near the rear wheel.
  7. A recent picture of my Ashton Effect brakeless.
  8. I ordered stuff tonight its only a small order because if i bought the Holy Rollers it would of cost £35 to post so its just two small items so its £2 postage or something like that, I'm gonna have to ring in the morning though to comfirm the order, its something about a communication error, I'm not too sure on that one because thats never happened before.
  9. There are a few good camp sites on the island near the good riding spots and there are a few pubs to choose from, I'm not from Visit Scotland by the way I just like where I live.
  10. I think Danny Mac uses prototype shimano bars or new inspired protos, he used to use Raceface Atlas i think.
  11. Yeh i can't wait it will be good fun to ride with other people for once im pretty alone when i ride, you should defo make the trip over, theres loads of natural stuff in the hills and on the beaches, the street isn't exactly big because theres not really a street just a road through some houses (a bit of an exaggeration) also the trails are amazing really nice and rooty if you like that sort of thing.
  12. I'm coming, I'm gonna go the night before because there isn't any ferries from Arran very early on Sundays. I've been looking on Google Street view at the meeting place, i'm guessing you know a few secrets spots?
  13. I just tested it to see if it would work on lighter items e.g sock and a t shirt, and it did it again with the same £35 postage thing.
  14. Yeh thanks, the postage is only £35 when i have 2 items in the basket though. It might be a glitch on the site?
  15. Ha don't worry I won't. I think when I ring them tomorow I'll ask them I'd rather actually speak to someone rather emailing them. Its not a hastle really its just kind of weird that companies like Chain Reaction, Wiggle and Stif cycles can post to island without hastle no offence to the guys at Tarty they do an amazing job!
  16. No not really, I moved to Arran from England, 7 years ago and most people on the mainland near me are NEDs and scallies.
  17. yeh ive emailed them before about tracking and insurance to island because they didn't have any before, i asked them why and they thought it was because my parents own a hotel so it was because it was commercial or something along those lines so i changed it to the name of my house and it didn't make any difference. I live on Arran.
  18. ive been scoping out lines on google street view it looks pretty good but he will proberly know a few secrets spots

  19. yeh i'll just take the brakes in my bag just incase i want to do any bigger lines it doesn't really take that long to put them back on though, i looked at st georges square on google maps and it look pretty good!

  20. I live on a small island on the West coast of Scotland and every time I try and order stuff from Tarty it says that I need to ring them in the morning to verifiy the order, I started to order parts tonight and now it says that the postage is going to cost £35 and they were only small items. Has anyone had this problemfore, it isn't really that annoying its just kind of weird how every other site i buy off doesn't do this?
  21. Damn i thought as much. Has that worked? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpiPi46XRZ8
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpiPi46XRZ8 Brakeless riding, new camera test
  23. it would be good to ride somewhere else cos my riding spots have sort of been dryed out of any new lines, i'm gonna bring my brakes just incase but still ride brakeless. Do you know what the riding is like there?
