  1. That's really weird because I was watching that vid yesterday mate. Good riding mate, how old are you out of interest? James
  2. I've never seen a rip being ridden so well. Congratulations mate. I gave you a validation vote and it seems you're now a member James
  3. Looks nice. First bike I've seen with a front rim brake and rear disk. James
  4. Maybe it's worth a quick email or phone call to Tarty-Bikes, I'm sure they will help, although whether they are in today or tomorrow is debatable due to the bank holiday. Hope I helped James
  5. Ok from what I can work out, the short arm from the spring goes into the hole on the round plate. the spacer goes into the arm with the bolt going through it. The round circular plate which you put the spring on then goes onto the opposite side of the arm from the bolt head, ensuring the locating pin on the plate faces away from the arm. Hope I helped James Sorry, my description as pretty much the same as the one above My fault for not reading James
  6. My dad has one very similar to that on his single speed so I can have a look if you like. James
  7. The frame was second hand and it was cheap, and it's only for a muck around bike to use for school and stuff, and to ride until I get my mod in November. It won't get bashed around too much so dosn't need high spec components. I have found a Truvativ Howitzer BB on ebay and have got the Cranks that go with it from the guy who sold me the frame so it is all sorted now. Thanks guys for all your help. James
  8. Is that an Onza Rip 2010? Nice riding mate. James
  9. It has a rear Magura mount but not on the front, and yes they would align with both frame and wheel. Hope I helped James
  10. That's the one, thanks mate. James
  11. It was a darker colour 24" or 26" with a seat, and I'm pretty sure the stickers were either Inspired or www.TartyBikes.co.uk Thanks James
  12. I didn't quite know whereabouts to put this, so here goes, A while ago there was a thread in the bike pictures are which featured a bike with stickers going round and round up the seat-tube. Could anyone direct me to this thread. I've tried searching for it but cannot find it anywhere. Thanks James
  13. Can you use normal ISIS crank-sets with it or is it done so that you can only use the Truvativ crank-sets Thanks James
  14. Actually mate yes I did and the only ones I could find are through axles and the Howitzer which isn't compatible with any normal ISIS crank meaning I'd muck up my drive-chain as the crank-set that fits it uses a spider. I'm currently running a 18-16 but a crank-set with spider would mean i'd have to run 22-18, which would be completely different to what I run now. James
  15. Hey all, I today went down and picked up my first ever trials specific frame, a Diamondback Kabuki Mono, to replace the old Giant Boulder I was using before. Upon getting home i noticed that is has a really weird bottom bracket size, coming in at a 100mm shell. Does anyone know where I can get a bottom bracket that fits this, preferably square taper or if not then its going to have to be ISIS. I need to get one ASAP otherwise I have no bike to ride Please help me. Thanks James
  16. The frame's only to ride on doing small stuff until I get my Onza for my birthday in November, and so won't be abused or given any real stick. I don't think I could break it even if I tried. My mate's had the Tekiya since it first came out and he hasn't had any problems. James
  17. A Diamondback Kabuki Mono frame and Race Face Evolve DH bars which I assume are either 09 or 08. I am 5ft 7" tall. I was having a look and I see Merlin Cycles have the Easton EA70 stem down to about 25 quid but I don't know if that would be strong enough for trials. Any suggestions. My budget isn't over the top but I could stretch to about £35 Thanks James

    Stems

Hey all I am going down to pick up my new frame tomorrow, and am thinking about getting a new stem at the same time. What sort of rise and length should I look for for a stock. Thanks James
  19. Thanks for that guys. Ill probably get it done on a cutter in school when I get back. I think discreet on either side of the chain-stay should do, or maybe at the head tube end of the top tube, no bigger than 3 inches long. Thanks James
  20. Hey Gareth I don't know much about trials bikes, but I do know Abrasive BMX in Keynsham had last years Onzas in stock going cheap, and the new ones coming in soon. I got an 09 Onza Bird brand new for just over 200 quid so maybe it's worth a pop in there. They should help you through as the bloke in there seems to know what he's talking about. As for the bike you mentioned, it sounds really nice, and should be good to ride, but I don't know whether or not it is a good beginners bike. Where abouts in Bristol are you? Hope I helped James
  21. Good work mate I'm loving the custom graphic with your name on it. Don't suppose you could tell me how you did it as a mate and I both want to have our names put on our bikes. Thanks James
  22. I've always loved that blue color on bikes, and the black badge is awesome! Good work mate James
