    I've found this. The only thing about CNC backings that I love is that the clips(so to speak) don't break off. O-ring system is much better. I agree with that, but whether they make for a more powerful brake is debatable.

    To save time an effort, why not give it a go? Echo Urban rims grind like no other rims out there. I've always had silly good brakes on them.

    Deffo worth keeping. They're amazing brakes. I think I'd still run them if I had a decent enough set. A LOT of people still swear by them.

    People who set out to make a good brake by grinding then tarring are just idiots. You're killing your rim AND making the brake worse in the wet. Either grind so it works in the wet, or tar so your rim lasts.
