Wow loved that, that gap at 3:10 is insane if you miss that . Backflip was pretty funny, although it looked painful . Nice style and evidently got skills. Liked the music for his riding + good filming + editing.
  3. Oh yeah sorry, forgot about that. On a 24 your quite limited with tyre choice, Kenda Small block are 2.1, and obviously Moto Diggers also come in 2.1, but apart from those 2 there isnt really much else :\. As i dont ride 24 ive never used either of these so cant recommend one I would go for 2.1 over 1.85 though.
  4. I would run a 2.2 Conti mountain king, but thats personal preferance, lightweight, good spring + same compound as Der Kaiser. Anything between like 1.85-2.1 on the front is decent, you can probs squeeze in a 2.35, but no need really. 2.2 Fits in mine easily.
  5. Thats lush, love GU forks, such nice looking design. Shoulda got chris king bmx rear hub . Why have bashring + bashgaurd ?
  6. I cant speak as having done it, but isnt trials a type of mountainbiking, so aslong as its not covering you specificly for DH MBT or anything, should you not be ok? Maybe you could ring up one of the companies and explain what trials is etc.
  7. Brakes are fairly crucial in my opinion, those pads + booster should help no end. Also i would definitely recommend grinding the rims. Those pads are designed for ground rims, as nearly everyone does it nowadays. Its not really expensive to get done, or you can do it yourself, but maybe if you only have 1 rim best get someone to do it incase you mess it up lol . Ground rims compared to polished is like riding on concrete compared to ice, i know which i would get more grip on .
  8. Am probably going to come. Can i "compete" in the trial just for a bit of fun? Is there going to be like beginner/inter/expert routes or just elite ? Cheers.
  9. Looks lush, green rim tape is pretty cool though i think.
  10. Are you running the same gear ratio as before? Also is it definitely something to do with the drivetrain thats making it feel wierd, not the wrong stem/bars combo?
  11. I wouldnt recommend riding around to loosen it on a square taper, as if it gets too loose you might round it off a bit. Get a small piece of wood and place it as close to the bb spindle as you can, making sure it spreads accross the whole crank (doesnt need to spread length ways), pour boiling water on it as said before, and then hit the wood as close to the BB spindle as you can (dont hit your hand, that will hurt ). The wood will protect your crank and should spread the load of the hammer evenly accross the crank, helping you get the force square to the crank, so it should come off easier. Ive done it before but now i have a crank puller i know that they arent on there as tight as some others ive used it the past. If its really stuck on there then maybe take it to your LBS and see if they can do anything?
  12. Thats not correct. You dont need a TV license to watch previously shown programmes. If you have a PC, you are legally allowed to watch ITV Player, BBC iPlayer etc without a TV license. You are not allowed to watch TV live (not a repeat). Also the TV license people cant do shit unless you are caught watching the TV. Even if you have a TV, connected to freesat, they cant do anything unless they actually see you watching the TV with the TV on. TVs arent just for watching "TV", you can use them as PC monitors, use them for games consoles etc, and you dont need a TV license for those. Seriously just send a letter to them saying what time you will be in, and if they dont come round in those times, then its not your fault they cant be assed to come see you when your in.
  13. thought he meant he checked the length of the BB :\.
  14. My dad has 2 pairs of shoes for his spd pedals, he has some mountainy shoes which are meant to be walkable in, and then he has some trainer like ones which also are walkable. He says the mountainy ones are just not at all practicle for walking in, although you can, which is why he went for another pair of trainer type. I think although the mountainy ones look to be more rugged (sp?), in actual fact theyre not as there is little padding etc and its made out of a plasticy material, and water gets through them quite easily. He also has a pair of these sock things to go over the top of his shoes, which he says are the best bit of kit he has . Theyre 100% waterproof, and when you get lots of mud and shit on there (sludge for you ), he just hoses them off whilst wearing them and his feet are still completely dry. I think he would strongly recommend the trainery type with the sock things, as opposed to the mountain type. However i havent actually worn these shoes, and am just going off what my dad thinks. Maybe for street the sock things arent so appropriate as they look a bit silly, but for comps + natural theyd be ideal. Mountain type Trainer Type Overshoe Hope i helped.
  15. There are quite a few middle aged men who do trials (and starting out). I hope to be riding some sort of dicipline of biking when i am that sort of age (hopefully trials still but in 20 years time it may have died out lol). Nothing to be embarrased about, its all about the fun it brings, just like 40 year olds who play rugby/football etc. Only bad thing is when you fall at 30+ it takes alot longer to bounce back than 16/17 .
  16. Have you checked your da bomb doesnt have a 73mm shell?
  17. wow theyre georgeous . Edit: The slate 3 looks pretty nice in gold without the tapered headtube also. Edit 2: Holy shit i think im in love with the anodised red Aurem 4!! If they did a slate in that red i dont think i could stop myself buying one

I thought kyddie meant he had packed it in for good. Good to see hes still doing it, just for fun this time as opposed to win. By the looks of it he would suit the 24" street style very nicely.
  19. man that guy on the black mod (gu?) is through the wars lol. Fair do's for trying it over and over though.

What a shame, such talent wasted .
  21. Well im a student, and was happy to pay like £60 for a 2nd hand headset, however i never see any larger ones on ebay or anything, and no ones going to be selling off here for a while. So i guess youd have to buy it new from a shop somewhere which is like double the price

Get such sick lines on a unicycle its awesome. Nice unicycling and riding there.
  23. Looking at getting a new frame, and just wondering if anyone has any bad experiences with either? Cracking easily and that sort of thing? Atm more inclined to go with a slate, but anyone advise me otherwise?
  24. Sick indeed. Absolutely incredible skill.
