Tried this yesterday and my wheel was wonky as hell lol, setting up HS33s is a pain in the ass as it is, let alone when your wheel wont stay straight lol

Theres a recess in the frame on the outside which is too small for snail cams to go in, so it can't be done. New end caps can be bought for £10. I'd rather do it properly for the sake of 10 mins grinding

Cheers for the replies guys, think I'll take the end caps in to uni and grind them down by the thickness of the cam. Thanks all!

Is this just because the frame spacing allows you to fit them in or have you stretched the CS out slighty?

Hi, Bought myself a new Speedrace Fans frame not realising the snail cams were on the inside. Theres no space on the outside for snail cams, so they have to be run on the inside. Can I stretch out the chainstays and squeeze the snail cams in or is that just a poor bodge job? If not apart from modifying the hub (which i dont really want to do), is there anything I can do? Would like to keep the Pro 2, but if not I guess I'll need to run a FFW :\

I would definitely let them know ASAP if you like the firm, so to give them as much time to recruit someone else. I think the best way to do that is with a quite word with the manager on the side, explain why your leaving and you just want to give as much notice as possible, and you'll formally resign closer to the time. That way there should be no bad blood and if things go tits up with the other place, you may still keep your job. If your not so keen on the firm and arent so worried about them, then wait until you have a job offer, but by the sounds of things you don't want to screw them over?

I also have no bike but may come down anyway as I don't live too far away. Plan to go out Friday night so may not be there too early!

I dont think the new Giants/Cannondales are designed at all with trials in mind, where as the 24/26's on tarty are, so would be alot more suited for trials.

A 24" or streety 26" (like the hex shown above), will be fun for doing trials, but could still be used for transport etc.
