No When you cycle, do you feel pedestrians notice you? Yes - they laugh because i have no seat What do you do to make yourself more visible to other road users during the day? - I try to cycle on the pavement and avoid pedestrians. What do you do to make yourself more visible to other road users at night? - rarely cycle at night How much would you be willing to spend on a product that would make you more visible on your bike? >£20 - if it worked and had a good benefit If you have children, would you buy a product like this for them? Yes Would you prefer the product to be: Integrated into what you wear If the device requires batteries, what is your preferred way of powering a device? Replaceable batteries Any other comments? Good idea, i would spend money to make myself safer, however i rarely cycle on the road and hardly ever at night, but for £20, if it saves your life, why not?

  3. Its hardly ridiculous at all. When you see the amount of spam there is in the New Members section, from companies trying to sell their products, to people just trying to be annoying. If there was no validation process, all that spam would be all over the place, and the forum would suck. 5 Validation votes is not at all hard to get, if you are geniunely interested in trials and make some good replies. Making topics, replying to topics helping people and being a genuinely nice guy is the way to get validated.
  4. Yeh your welcome to use it for the day, however im not so sure im gonna ride, as its meant to absolutely piss it down, but if daves braving it, ill give it to him and he can give it to you, just remember to give it back to him .
  5. i have a spare vee adaptor you can borrow.
  6. If you are i would like to come ? Are u getting the train dave? Time/place please?
  7. yh i saw this the other other day too, dont remember the trials, or the basketball/nfl, or the wheelchair backflip
  8. Oh yeh my bad :\. Even read like twice to make sure i wasnt being a retard, read again after u posted and blatently says hes not using washers :$. I would personally use a washer and see if it sorts it, then if it does, instead of keeping the washers, use a hacksaw and chop a bit off each bolt.
  9. I thought TNN clamps used no washers, just clamped straight onto the cyclinders? Sorry if im wrong
  10. 18:15 would feel pretty much the same as 22:18 and is what most people use.

    Does he have wings?
  12. 2 Back disc calipers . That was pretty awesome skills to be honest
  13. This :\. If you wanted to run your standard 18:12 gear ratio, your going to struggle to find a 12T freewheel to put on the back, where as its really easy to get 18T freewheels, for the front. You could i guess put a 16T on the back and then a 19/20 on the front, but then you get less ground clearance so. Most cranks take FFW now so why not
  14. Could do with cutting the hoses too What front brake is it?
  15. O shit thats loverrrrrly. Nice setup u got going on there too . Very nice bike.
  16. Also i think because on mod, the common ratio is 18:12, and a 12T freewheel is harder to build than an 18T.
  17. I could be down for something on Saturday, maybe Pompey?
  18. lo l immense, pretty small front disc though no?
  19. That levellboss is really nice spec, but the frame is just ugly as . But if u bought that bike and replaced the frame, youd be onto a winner, at not very much cost compared to buying that stuff seperate . Not saying you should replace the frame, im just saying i would .
  20. Wont be your weight, 11 stone isnt much at all. Id say most middle twenty riders are 10-11 stone. Something like this might suit you; http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/24_inch_frames_135mm/because_simple_trial_24_inch/c70p11123.html
  21. they will all be spinnable, but the front brake cable will stop it from going any further, so how far they spin will depend on your hose length. If you want them to spin freely, you could have no front brake, or run the front hose through the headset/forks.
  22. I think to do it properly is out of most people's league, anyone can bodge it, but risk damaging their frame and/or headset doing so. You really need the proper tools, to do it. For the price it will cost you to get it done at your LBS compared to replacing your frame + headset, then having to have another go , I think its worth it.
  23. Bugger me . Its worth the perfect mod and everyone on the forum salivating over your bike though right ?
  24. This is one thing I would definitely recommend you have you LBS do for you, they wont charge too much, and will do a proper job .
