Vee brakes are really good with the right pads (TNN LGM - Look on tarty), also grinding your rim will improve the performance of your brake no end. As for the bike, the Zoot (24" wheels) is a street based bike, for flowing BMX like moves (manuals etc), however you can still do decent trials moves with them, as seen by Danny Macaskill . The other 2 options are 20" wheels, or 26" wheels. Its personal preferance what sized wheels you go for, however 20" tend to be more flicky + easier on the rear wheel, where as 26" are obviously bigger and you can roll stuff easier, which can make things look very smooth.

Haha yes! But seriously: wip out the plunger!

That was awesome, really enjoyed it . Loved the part where you squeezed into the taxi haha, surprised he let you in. Really good riding as allways.

Shit that last clip on the mod could of easily been an ankle breaker . For me the intro was a bit long, but that looks like a very nice place to live + ride!

Zoo! Lynx Rim Brake, echo Lite Spec 1,gu Le 09 Disc Brake Or Echo L

Out of those 3 i would go for the GU. Custom build can cost like £1800+ to get what u really want, but then u do get what u REALLY want. -
Wow, thats georgeous. Probably one of the nicest looking 24's ive seen! Seems alot of stackers, but lots of people seem to use lots of stackers on 24, so i guess it helps . Colourscheme is surprisingly nice, not normally a fan of gold. Really nice spec'd parts too . How does it ride ? Edit: Holy crap just read its your first trials bike, what a dream for your first bike!

Anywhere between 160-170 really. No need for any longer than 170.

Go for ISIS, and i think if i had the money, id go for the new rockman, with so many engagements it must be beaut, but who knows yet if it skips much etc, its a risk i would personally take . If not you can allways go with the Echo SL.

Doesnt a thicker disc generally give a harsher grind? Obviously its how much pressure + the angle of the disc aswell, but i think the thickness does effect it. I think a thinner disc is usually best (lighter grind), as you can then change harshness with pressure + angle? Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong .

Very nice, crazy to go on that tree when it was icey , falling off was inevitable on that lol.

Gusset Tank Chain . Bomb proof mate . http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/chains/gusset_tank_chain_316/c7p331.html

Its a decent price, but if its not new, then its not really that cheap. It shouldnt be cracking if its brand new . I wouldnt really pay £235 for a second hand £350 frame really, but thats just me. Id be looking at more of a £450-500 frame second hand for £235, or just spend the extra £100 and get it brand new.

Does not appeal :\. Dont really like the colour + that hydroforming just looks as though its made it weaker to me.

Amazing . So good how he makes the line perfect, without actually seeing where hes going.

Are there any snail cams that will fit a chris king with fun bolts that dont need to be modified (preferably run on the inside of the frame but no neccessary)? Also does the dimension of a pair of forks affect the feel of the front end much? Im looking at getting a new pair, should i pay much attention to the dimensions, or just go for a pair with a good reputation, at a good price, that look decent? Obviously different rake etc will affect the wheel base, but is it significant? Thanks in advance for help.

Blue stem is georgeous. Thats so nice its ridiculous . I think a diff colour headset could look better, as its a bit too much blue there, maybe black? But most of the scheme is spot on, looks dreamy

looks like a pitbull to me . Nice riding, shame quality was lost Did u film in higher quality?
-
I heard Kings didnt fit into the dropouts very well? As everyone says, green clamps have to go, but apart from that looks mint
-
Yeh, im guessing other spots are just as good? Ive seen pics from other poole rides and it looks pretty decent.
-
Fk unlucky tom . Gutted i work on Sundays. Poole looks sick.

Any ideas on the geo dude? I have the same frame but not a clue what the geo is . Looking good though .
-
More tension? Is all i can suggest if you have the right chain for the sprockets and your chainline is straight?
-
I agree. That thing is ugly as . Also you need vertical dropouts, which your mod does not have . Cant believe such a contraption exists lol.

Ive allways used 170mm cranks on my stock. Anyone tried 18:14? Sometimes think 18:15 is a bit light when your tackling things at a bit of speed, dont get much power. But on the other hand, for going from still, 18:14 may be a bit heavy :\. Opinions?

That bracket is going to have to be so long, its going to either be really flimsy + flex loads, or weigh a tonne :\. Your best off either keeping maggies or getting a new frame. You could get a disc mount welded onto your frame, but thats going to be expensive i imagine. Also you your comment about there should already be a bracket made, alot of frames come with both disc + 4-bolt mounts anyway, and alot of people prefer HS33 on the back as opposed to disc. So theres not going to be very much demand for such a bracket, making it more expensive to make (as you cant mass-produce). Also asking for validation is off-putting. Your friends cant have made that many topics, if you just post in new members chat, helping people as best you can etc, then your going to get 5 votes pretty quickly...
