Might be a bit too late but I've just stumbled across this thread. The rims are good, probably not the best. As long as you aren't too harsh on them and bash the rim too many times you should be fine! They did go slightly out of true when I was doing some spins, nothing that wasn't easily fixed, but that might be down to the wheel builder, or my terrible riding (more likely).

Really enjoyed that video, great riding and a great edit, although maybe buy a belt?

Oh the comedy! Obviously this guy is from abroad. I doubt anyone here can type in his language as well as he can type in ours.

Aint I A Dick, The Plague Blueray Now For Download
AndrewEH1 replied to TRA's topic in Website Updates
A week or so ago TRA release a sneak-peak of his DVD release which was basically the whole video sped up and condensed into 30 seconds. Can't find the link at the moment but I'm guessing this is him now advertising that you can now download it! Edit: Found it, The Plague Trailer Edit: ~£30 for a downloaded film, a bit cheeky surely? -
Once you do find the leak I would definitely recommend this following this guide: Leaks

Got an Android smartphone? Download the free version of Soundhound, once you've got it open it and hold it up to the speaker and as long as you have 3G/wifi signal it will search the interwebs and tell you what song it is, as long as it isn't too obscure! And it is all free! I'm sure that iPhones will have something similar. Back to topic, I have no idea as I am at work at the moment so can't watch the video.

Leaks usually occur when there is a hole in something...better find that hole.

Loving the car boot specials!

Lovely colour! I wish I was brave enough to re-spray my frame!

The bike you have linked to is more of a Dirt Jumper/Street Jumper. You could techincally use it for 'trials' (you could really use any bike) but the weight of the shocks/frame/other components might mean you are limited in what you can do. If you really want to use a DJ bike for trials it would be best to at least switch out the shocks for some rigid forks.

If you are looking for a used bike look no further than this forum in the Buy/Sell Section, shipping depends of the person but most people are reasonable. If you are looking for a new bike try Tarty Bikes, they ship anywhere in the world. Most modern trials bikes don't have gears anymore since the UCI changed the rules regarding gear ratios. If you want a 20" Onza make some very decent beginner/cheaper frames, if you fancy a 26" ZOO! are good. Although from your post it looks like your after an Inspired 24" which you could buy from either here or Tartybikes. Trials bikes are pretty impractical for longer journeys due to them being, usually, single speed. Although I often run about town on mine. Edit: Hardly any trial bikes have saddles you can actually sit on whilst riding, all 20" and almost all 26" don't have a saddle at all, so if that is what your looking for you better get a very long seat post

I love it so much that Google decided not to show it to me...fix the link?

Trials bikes come in three sizes: 26", 24" and 20". These are the actually the size of the wheels, rather than the frame. At 5'7 you shouldn't have much difficulty with a 26". But it's all personal preference.

Your link didn't work, asks me to sign in/sign up. Edit: Scrap that, link seems to work now Don't have any experience with Superstar Components, but if you are going to buy one to use for a couple of months and then upgrage to a Hope Pro II it might be a bit of a waste of money. Edit Again: Also some of these hubs are for XC only so might not be able to cope with the strain of trials.

If you are planning on running front disc then Trialtech Forks are king, haven't had experience with 4-bolt forks but I have no doubt that they will be just as good!

I'm glad to see that the rioting is London has seemed to have calmed down even if there were more fires, although the riots outside of London are worrying. The state of youth culture thinking that rioting and looting is OK is extremely concerning. Whatever reason we come up with for these riots we are probably wrong. People who riot and destroy their local area and local businesses because of the Government/boredom/a known drug dealer getting shot/police brutality/or what ever pathetic excuse they come up with, have no respect at all and hopefully will be given the most severe punishment possible. If they really wanted to make a point and be listened to and respected they should have organised a mass peaceful protest and marched on Whitehall. But they didn't because the majority of people who were on the streets at night are scum. I agree that there are people out there that need help but the actions of the rioters do not help their cause.

Get some Fairy Liquid put some on the rim. Use a dish brush with a little water and scrub the rim so it gets all soapy. Soap breaks down oils and grease. Once the rim has been fully soaped up clean off all the soap with water, and job done. It's all about the Fairy Liquid, others are available.

What is rubbing exactly? If it is that metal chain guide, you could possibly remove it.
