I'm in a really similar position. I've got £1200-£1500 to spend which gives quite a few options i think. I've been looking at: Peugeot 106 1.1 Citroen Saxo 1.1 Renault Clio (old one) Peugeot 306 1.4 / 1.9TD I kinda had a bit of an incident on my mum's insurance meaning they dick me on everything. They're all good on insurance, with the 306 being most expensive, but not by that much 'cos they're fat and slow so not as likely to get smashed up / stolen.

Cars Mini Cooper Diesel 1.4 - Mums Current Car - It's just shit. Handles like poo, looks average, is reliable so.. meh. Mini Cooper S - Mums old car - Fast but still a craute wagon Nissan X-Trials 2.0 TDI - Dad's car - It's huge. End of. Peugeot 206 - Mate's car - Blah only drove it 10 miles, was ok though. VW Golf Mk5, 1.9 TDI - Mate's car - I'm in love. It's sooooo nice. Huge torque too. Citroen Saxo 1.1 - Mate's car - I didn't like it. Lol This is pretty wierd Frontal Media have been hired to do a wedding reception photo shoot for someone we know I'm shitting it haha. It's at Brooklands hotel in Barnsley next Saturday, and we're the only photographers. We've just been sorting the lighting out today. Renting some soft boxes for it, as the flash centre in Leeds have recommended. Should be a good evening. Edit Just been talking to some other people about it and I'm really unsure about what lighting to get sorted. Grr. It's indoor with really low lighting. We want to ensure that the groups of up to 12-15 people come out fine, so are probably going to shoot at F/4 ish. Recycle time isn't great on the Sigmas once the freshness of the new batteries has died, but it does let us move rooms easier, and have less equipment to worry about. The soft boxes were recommended since they'll give soft, more natural light so that shadows should disappear, as well as letting us use F4 easily. Meh.

What day though? I found out I got a late birthday present of a Taste of Chaos ticket in Manchester on Sunday. So I'm busy then, I think. Or atleast from about 3pm onwards. I'm free-ish on Sat. Depending on weather. Not getting the cam wet. lol

We went karting. Was RAD. I won too and a lot of my friends should of been better than me. Their excuse of 'your kart was faster' didn't wash Got an O'Neill coat from my mum, with some other clothes from River Island too which are nice. £60 DC's from my sister and her boyf! But they don't fit so I changed them for a difference shoe. A Diesel watch from my girlfriends, and a shirt from her parents, which was nice. DVD's from my mates, and some alcohol+ games lol. and a bloody good shag from the other half. pretty good if you ask me. :) I'm a happy boy.
