im back upto 8.4 now, put a DH tube in for abit while i bash some hooks lol. i never really realised how much weight you can save from wheels alone. i could probably lose alot more but CBA, i like abit of strength.
-
oh really? in that case your set. watch TRA back to 2001 vid. he rides some nice indoor set ups. or try find some pics of barrow farms barn?
-
I know, thats what i mean. My garage is a normal sized 2 car garage. And if i get on the back wheel in there i nearly bang my head. So if he was jumping on pallets he would need alot of headroom. So it limits what height stuff he can make
-
6m x 6m. bearing in mind how tall you are when on the back wheel. and then how high you go when you jump. theres not a lot of room to do anything really. you really only have room to lay down 2 pallets and do some gaps.
-
^ i wasnt calling you a beginner you turd. the guy who snapped the pedals. i know your not a beginner, youve been riding twice as long as me and are better than me. DUH!
-
loved that. should have ridden over that vauxhall though.. you missed your golden opportunity.
-
thats when i put them on, changed them scince..
-
you need better pictures.
-
fishing for a compliment on how well your pedals are drilled again laurence? hahaha the drilling isnt gonna affect the spindle is it? seems like the new echos dont last as long as the old ones... I think anyone who buys lightweight parts should expect to break them at some time, and he may be a beginner.. which means he isnt as smooth as someone whos been riding longer, so he probably puts more strain on them than a pro rider would.

yeah actually. how highs that? dont look anywhere near as high as that monument. your drops more of a freeride drop where you just bomb it off the edge.. (which you can do on any bike) to get more trialsy have you tried being at a complete stop at the top of the wall and then going? would be more controlled and generally look way better. plus it means you could drop off walls where you dont have a big run out.
-
niiiiice. i didnt think they would feel any different, but you can feel how much stiffer they are straight away.
-
its sat in my wardrobe.
-
also as a side note. you should video your first attempts? that way some brakeless people will be able to give you pointers. and the brake-ful? people can get some free entertainment.
-
maybe you shouldnt be riding on a monument either. just saying. its a little disrespectful.
-
that was awesome! my favourite vid entry so far.
-
i just ride whats fun. try get up higher stuff, or gap further. if its fun.. ride it.
-
i bet that rides like a dream!
-
yup. but the likely hood of someone breaking urbans is very small.
-
i got a specialized track pump. i think they are like £65 though, got mine free. but anyway yeah they are awesome, and if anything brakes.. (which it never does) you can get replacement dial parts etc. http://www.specialized.com/gb/gb/ftb/pumps/floor-pumps/airtool-comp-floor-pump

Its the stock stuff cut, then just wrapped round a little more and glued. Caustic soda if your rims are anodised, or nitromors if theyre painted. Then rub autosol over the rim and buff with a buffing wheel on a drill. Will get them like chrome. Oh amd the brakes are the tits
