  1. evo2 mount, solidly bolted. I had it on my Ashton, worked just as well as 4 bolts
  2. my vee was like that. it was like riding in to a brick wall, it was that powerful.
  3. the new hs33 is an absolute pig to bath bleed, you are bette off leaving it oil bled, at least then you get the Magura leakproof warranty with it. or f**k it off and get an 04 lever with new pistons. best brake ever in my humble opinion
  4. I've got an echo tr on my mod and it's better than any hope I've had, you gotta get em bedded in right and set up properly. everyone who rides my bike says my brakes are awesome. ask dann2707
  5. that's why they are marketed as front freewheel only, as rear wheel application will loosen the lockring. even if you sent it back to where you got it, I doubt they would give you a new one, and they would know by the state of the internals how you used it. you should be able to get the spares off tartys or rocknroll bikes
  6. I'm in. travelling with Dave. have to try not to drink too much Saturday night
  7. got it from Rustys in scunny, andee's place of work. only cost me £26. was well impressed when the lad came downstairs with it.
  8. if you are running it on the back, make sure you check the lock ring is staying tight. it is designed to be on the cranks, and therefore self tightening. if you have it on the back, the rotation of your wheel will naturally try to loosen the lock ring. if I was you, I would loosen the ring and put a tiny blob of loctite, and tighten it back up, for added piece of mind
  9. Adidas shop for the win. I've got a 3/4 tight sleeved one for winter, combined with a base layer top, perfect for riding
  10. for the record, the Bbb tie fighters and the neon 2012 tie fighters are completely different in compound and shape. the neons only use the tie fighter backing. the compound is like heatsink red
  11. I had a 2.7 high roller on my inspired, it's worth the weight penalty. you won't pinch flat it and I thought it was amazingly bouncy
  12. that's quite a nice steed you have there sir. like the front brake, although a floating disk wouldn't be my first choice
  13. I've wrote a pad review on the neon 2012 tie fighter pads, which I'm running at the mo. they are quality. and for 12 quid, you deffo should try em
  14. go for the saints. no contest
  15. any of you boys riding 2mora?
  16. I get what you are saying pal, but if like me you got your bike secondhand and it's previous owner has no idea how to helicoil or drill m5, then this was the strongest, easiest and least hassle free solution I found. plus it helps being friends with the tool maker at work, took him 2 mins on a lathe. and he said if I wanted more, just let him know
  17. best solution I found, it's homegrown and does not require modifying of the brake clamps. I got a stud made at work, with 15mm of m6 thread on one end, and 20 mm of m5 thread on the other. you then helicoil your frame to m6, and loctite the stud into your frame. then simply use am m5 nut and the spacer from a chain link as your fastener. works every time for me and is miles stronger than repeatedly screwing a bolt in and out. and you are sacrificing 10 grams at the most
  18. can't be done. new hub time I'm afraid chief
  19. good riding gloves are golf gloves. very grippy and loads of feel
  20. it's split where the join is dude. new rim time. don't even think about getting it repaired, it's not worth getting hurt for the sake of 40 quid
  21. dan james cox.......... yes him again
