  1. i dont see why not because you are claiming on the crack at the head tube in a way. they will sort something out
  2. first brake pad review of 2013 man! Pads: rockman CNC blues Time used: 2 months (they came on my bike so god knows how long they have been used for, but they dont show any sign of wearing) Rim used: Echo TR 24" Grind: Yes (medium) Ceraminc: No Brake used: echo TR What is your opinion of a working brake: bitey, load and holds well How do they compare to previous pads you have used: best pads i have used, and i have tried two pairs of lgms which didnt work for me and two pairs of cousts which were great too ( when they were alive) and yellows didnt work for me either. Review: best pads i have ever used, no sign of wearing, and i have a brand new pair waiting to be put on when these run out, i recommend these pads to everyone, they work in all weather (which is awesome)
  3. bonz are supposed to be good, but us 24" riders dont have a lot of choice with rims at the moment. im going for bonz next month when i have new wheels
  4. fixed, for now, just need my crank bolts
  5. makes me want another mod, sweet riding
  6. always wanted to just do a rail but they scare the sh*t out of me
  7. was they the ones with the green bash on ebay??
  8. gonna use a zip tie, the brake is on the bike, just need to drop the back wheel out and get the pads off
  9. so my brake is bled, one slave works amazing, the other moves a little, but if you hold your finger over the good one then they work the same? what do i need to do to get the other slave working the same as the other again? confused
  10. ah right, if nobody else has a solution, just bleed with oil, see how it goes, before bleeding i would clean everything off too
  11. what i did was undo the grub screw, blow the piston out, and at the slave cylinder, put a syringe on with a barbed fitting and just push and pull water through the system, them put the piston and spring back in, and then just bath bleed it normally. revolver did a bath bleed tutorial somewhere on the forum
  12. thats what i thought too, i did this on mine at first, i just re bled my brake (bath bleed) and it sorted its self out.
  13. as it says in title, im fed up with faffing about with rim brakes, i always have problems with them and they dont last long, my front disc is amazing, and ive never had any problems with disc brakes, just wondering if anybody knows if they are producing a frame with disc mounts and rim brake mounts?
  14. echo whites are not up to anything, not even on a smooth rim, ive used yellows (they didnt last for me very long), blues (which were incredible), tnn lgms (worked for a bit, two pairs of them) if anything id go for rockman blues in cnc backings, defiantly best pads ive ever had, and not problems, when i bought my bike, they came on, and the guy said he had had the same pads on for over a year, and they are still on my bike now with at least a quarter pad material left, and still with lots of noise, i have some new rockman blues waiting to be put on once these have gone, but honestly, if you have the money and you want cnc backings, defo rockmans or cousts
  15. yeah they are the ones off tarty dez yeah they were pretty tough pulling them off my mates bike with the crank puller! will do dave, ordered them just along with them hope pro pads, should be here next week yeah my tr cranks did that came standard on my echo, the try all splines are stiffer like the other guy said, they were tought to pull off! thanks guys, it should be ok with new bearings and trialtech cranks then
  16. yeah they are mate, ill have a go, will the problem be solved with the trialtech cranks?
  17. so yesterday, i stripped my thread while riding on my trial tech cranks with echo sl freewheel on, was a nasty crash i must add. anyway i wanted to go riding today with my mate so he lent me his try all cranks off his 26" for the day, but i've noticed that they don't close up to my echo spacers all the way? (it is a echo 24" 2011 frame with Spanish bb by the way) which means there is a slight wobble, i think the bearings are ready for replacing, but will the fly bikes bearings fit my echo frame? as i don't intend paying £70 just for an echo bb installation tool, will i be able to get them in with a hammer? light hits is it the try all cranks not big enough? but i have been offered some trialtech ones, will the problem be solved if i bought the fly bearings and the cranks? and possibly some small spacers? thanks guuys
