  1. Not the 1D mkIII.... The 1Ds mkIII! 21mp... Medium format here we come woooo!
  2. Canon 40D and 1Ds mkIII have finally been announced, for those who are interested. Looking forward to getting my mits on those in a few weeks, woohoo
  3. Well Boon's practically rubbed his genitals all over my misses, something I'm sure she'll treasure forever. Don't think I've ever seen her so petrified, only that time I suggested it in the anooose.
  4. Minor details... I've seen them both naked and trust me, nothing between them
  5. Finally, evidence that they are one and the same...
  6. 17 years in the making... 132 paint jobs, 23 frames, 432 rims, 17,000 pints of cider... ROWAN JOHNS PRESENTS... Riders of Rohan.
  7. I can confirm Rowan now has silly anchors front and rear. Very impressed
  8. The pics are from a fair few weeks ago, weather was bloody lush. Cheers for the comments so far
  9. Hey dude, seems like ages since you were here! I'm still in Bristol, just popped home for a few days. Come up and ride!
  10. Went home to Kent a few weeks ago, had a pretty good ride in Herne Bay with Peter the Pork Sword. And here's some pics. Hope you like (Click pics to make bigger, if you hadn't realised )
  11. Was absolute class, although Mike smelt surprisingly fresh afterwards My hero
  12. Nice one Boon old chap, just noticed these badboys were up! My wrist is fooked after bailing that first rail attempt hahaha Rowan's gaps are pure comedy, should not be allowed at all! Riding next week for the win... Wednesday Apple + Props = ON
  13. "One of them already has a boyfriend, but I could beat him up easily... But I can't be bothered" - Classic
  14. Had a good ride today lads, cheeeeeers! That geeza really got to me in the end... Felt like being hit in the head repeatedly with a large hammer every time he opened his mouth lol
  15. Well done Peter Pork Sword, another cool vid. I liked some of the lines in Ramsgate, never really thought of them before (shows how long it's been since I rode there!). Nice one, come to Bristol you hero.
  16. You'll need to drill out your current mounts to allow M6 bolts to fit. Easy job with a vice and a Cobalt drillbit. You can buy M6 stainless bolts in packs of 20 for VERY cheap. I bought 20 recently for less than some shops are selling 4. Both the drill bits and bolts will take you approximately 10 seconds to find on Ebay
  17. Dude, I'm available mon-weds for riding, hoping to get out today in a bit if you are up for it? Tomorrow too Give me a call - 07791 468836 Dan
  18. Yep I was pretty surprised... I've never been a weight weeny but I thought "why not?" haha. Thing is, it could become slightly lighter Frame is 100% a 2004. Was absolutely immaculate when I got it, just needed some helicoils in the brake mounts and a nice beadblast and powdercoat
  19. Good ride today gents, nice to put faces to names! Feeling the effects of cider after a beast ride though!
  20. Tubeless is so bloody funny, I had literally 8 "punctures" in a row on a silly gap to sharpish concrete, was actually putting small holes in the sidewall of my tyre... Latex pissed everywhere then sealed. Reckon I would have punctured a standard tube a few times (running silly low pressure), but it's so great not having to faff around fixing punctures! Only had issues on lairy gaps, been mint for sidehops and ups etc. OH YOU ABSOLUTE BUM!! I thought I would get in before you slammed down your tubeless bashing!! Damn you! At least I can gap forwards Captain Sideways
  21. Thanks for the offer... But I don't think I'll ever change from my Zoo's. Everyone knows the old ones are the daddy!
  22. Bit of file and dremel action sorted that out. Hassle, but worth it seeing as Tensile UCI bashes are hard to get hold of at the moment.
  23. That's fair enough if you want to work for a MTB mag, but Dave said he wants to get into fashion etc... Plus UK MTB mag's aren't exactly HUGE are they?
  24. I think the general point Dave is trying to make is he wants to venture into professional work in the future. The current number floating around is 70% professionals use Canon. Most of the BIG agencies such as Reuters DEMAND their photographers use Canon. I'm talking the massive press agencies here, not your local paper and magazines... I completely agree, at an amateur level, it really would be silly to change. BUT if someone is looking to make a career out of photography, it does make sense to get on the Canon system early, before you start collecting Nikon equipment. He's already said he has no lenses etc., and the D50 is very much a beginners camera. So a 30d makes the perfect "upgrade" and a great way to get accustomed to the Canon system. I'm in no way Nikon bashing, and yes I'm a Canon user, but I like to think I'm not too biased!
  25. Yep, this bike actually weighs less than my 221PR did on the same scales
