  1. Thought the riding was very good, but some of the filming (angles) did my head in! Editing was good, but let down by some shocking angles. Sometimes I think people try to overcomplicate the actual shooting, thus producing something like this. Bit of a shame really. That's my opinion.
  2. Just out of interest, what stem geo is everyone running? I'm currently building mine with a Thomson 100 x 10 stem and Zoo bars, not sure what sort of spacerage to put under there... I'm new to this BB rise game.
  3. Would have probably been me on the Koxx, are you sure the matt black Planet X wasn't a Tibo? Because that would have been Chris if so.
  4. All the views and hardly any comments!! ARG! Took me ages to compress/resize/upload all these pics!
  5. Hahaha you know that's a different pic You wait till Bristol... Your ass is mine
  6. So many different people took the photos!! Poon, Steve, Chris, Josh, Sean... Probably even you at some point haha! As for the bikes... Ashton 24", Koxx 1040 (all silver and then all black), and most recently Echo Pure 1060 with black Urbans. Edit - just realised the first one was my old Zebdi - going back a few years now!
  7. I've got so many pics on my PC, I decided to share my favourites with the forum hehe Taken over the last couple of years, hence the different bikes! 8. There are 4 of us South-East lads coming to Bristol for the weekend (my 21st yay), so would be sweet to ride with some people who know the riding spots. 11am at Temple Meads is it?
  9. Have used many of Hope's offerings and have been using a King for nearly 3 years now. King wins hands down. Most of the complaints you get from King users is due to them either not being set up correctly for trials from the beginning, or a lack of maintainance. The engagement system on a King is quite simply so great, it makes Hope and other ratchet systems look rather crude. Yes they are more expensive, but I have NEVER once had a single problem with my King, it has NEVER skipped whilst riding trials. The only skips I have experienced have been when simply riding along, and even then they are barely noticible. I have had Hope's skip on me on more than one occasion when riding trials. This is nothing against Hope, as they are a fantastic company, but King in my opinion are the daddy of all hubs, and no new hub using a traditional ratchet system will come close.
  10. Had exactly the same problem when I had my Megane Coupe. Bought a Ground Loop Isolator, fixed the problem, no worries at all. Here's a link to one: Ground Loop Isolator
  11. I'm spending £20 every two days roughly. Mainly due to 8500rpm and VTEC Although I do around 20k miles a year.
  12. 90 minutes of live footage, absolutely stunning! They held a special gig for the DVD, so it isn't like the usual crappy DVD's you get with about 3 camera angles etc. Top performance. The other part is a full feature length documentary, which I felt gave a great insight into the band, with interviews with tons of other bands and family members. Buy it!
  13. If you like the band, I seriously suggest you buy the new DVD. Brilliant insight into how the band was formed, the whole Jesse/Howard changeover and lots more - best DVD I've bought for a while, and not just for the music
  14. Alright Tom, long time no see buddy. I'll be free monday-thursday for ridage, give me a PM and you can have my new number. See you soon dude
  15. Didn't think the V3 had a video facility?
  16. I'm on my third replacement in 2 months. And this one is also faulty. Orange = worst customer service in the universe. Also, the Razr is UBER slow and generally poor. Looks good, thats about it. Wish I had never got the damn thing.
  17. Got a rear Classic direct from Aspire. Absolutely top notch service. There was a huge shortage of Gold Classics at the time, but they managed to get me one quicker than expected. Also a mate of mine ordered a pair of Classics direct from them, again superb service. He snapped the axle on his rear, so Aspire sent him out a standard axle free of charge, without even seeing the broken one. On top of this, once he does send the broken one back over, he'll be getting a Heavy Duty axle + funbolts, all free of charge also. I wouldn't even bother going anywhere else for King products.
  18. Excellent stuff, I love the camera so much! Was a good ride fow show!
  19. Used to have a Megane Coupe myself. Not bad cars. Go on www.coupe-club.co.uk, look at the guide, job done.
  20. Nope it's the Canon with the CMOS sensor, which is far more advanced and gives better quality that a standard CCD. I'm not going to type an essay for the reasons why, as the info is widely available on the net. And in regards to lenses... I'm sorry, but Canon lenses are pretty much reknowned for being the best in the business. I'm not saying the Nikkor lenses are poor, I'm just saying when compared to a Canon, they are in different leagues. 70% of professional photographers use Canon lenses.
  21. Canon EOS 350d. Costs around £650 for a kit, which includes an 18-55mm lense, 256mb card off Canon, and loads of vouchers up to £100 off for lenses and flashes if you want to take it more seriously in the future. Quite a bit for a camera, but seeing as lots of mags have voted it the best camera for under £1000, you can't go wrong. Has the DIGIC processor which is designed and manufactured by Canon themselves. You wont find this in any other camera (most others use a generic processor modified for camera use). Because of this you get longer battery life, much faster operation (3fps continuous), and less noise. Also, all Canon lenses are top notch glass lenses. The D70 Nikon etc come with Plastic lenses, which aren't fantastic to be honest. The 350 is also one of the more durable digital SLR's on the market, Nikon's are ok but very "plastic" like, and they have had some reliablity problems recently, with some Digital SLR's being recalled. Any more info PM me. I would definately go for the 350d if you can afford to, imo you won't find a camera that comes close for under a 1000.
  22. Holy SH*T! Are they even enjoying that? Looks more like punishment than fun haha! Crazy sections! Can't wait to see some full vids!

    Koxx 1040

Agreed. Mine measures at 1055 with Echo Urbans. Looks just like your run of the mill levelboss though in the end.

Here's mine. Resprayed in Honda Nighthawk Black. Doesn't look half as pretty now though (Y)
  25. Mate has one, rides VERY well. Only concern is the strength, as his recently cracked after around 8 months of riding. I must stress that he is one of the smoothest riders I've seen, and the frame is barely scratched. He doesn't abuse his bike at all, he's a very experienced rider. They are going pretty cheap on Chain Reaction at the moment...
