  1. It's definitely more flexy than a Deng frame... But it's so flicky and light, you can't really notice!! I won't be getting Mag rims, mainly because my front rim is far lighter, and the rear isn't far off having had the inner wall removed! Plus it can hold a grind a lot better!
  2. So, here she is... Pretty much finished, might consider a lighter front hub in the near future, but otherwise I'm chuffed with the spec! Rides extremely well Quick spec: DOB frame & forks King headset, carbon topcap, Ti bolt, carbon stackers Tensiles, Trialtech bash, Ti crank bolts Wellgo MG-1 pedals with Ti axles Thomson stem with Ti bolts, old style Zoo risers, Rock foam's Front Mono Trial with Unex rotor, Ti rotor bolts, Ti caliper bolts, Ti lever bolts, Carbon lever blade Rear HS-33, Ti lever clamp bolt, Trialtech booster, full Ti hardware Front Mavic X317 Disc on Hope Pro 2, Ti skewer, Latex tube and Tryall tyre Rear Tryall rim with inner wall removed (single wall) on Chris King BMX with Ti bolts, standard tube and Schwalbe Big Betty tyre Tryall snail cams KMC Kool narrow That's basically it! Weighed at Mud Dock... approx 8.7kg! Without taking a drill to anything (apart from butchering the rear rim!) Comments appreciated as always
  3. Sorry I didn't reply to your PM Chris, been busy as of late! Anyway, loving the frame to be fair. You'll get on with one a treat I reckon. The flex really isn't that bad, I'm running a Trialtech booster and it does the job fine. It's flexier than a Deng frame but you aren't a heavy slugger so you'll be fine I'll get some pics of mine soon, it's going for a weigh in this week, and just by comparing my spec with some of the others on here I know it will be absolutely ridiculous!
  4. Haha was wondering if this would pop up! Comedy ride. Bring back the 2 wheel bunnyhop!
  5. I never comment on anything really, but felt I had to for these... Absolutely immense shots Joe! And obviously top notch riding as expected.

  9. Cheers for the comments guys, much appreciated Rowan is sponsored by Tartybikes and Ridden Clothing, you MUST have seen his last vids??
  10. Rowan is the destroyer of all things fork like lol
  11. Few snaps of Rowan and Boon in Bristol... Too bloody cold to ride, taking pics was hard enough! The Twins... Comments appreciated
  12. I would sell it. If the police come knocking asking for it... You could simply say it was stolen again Easy.
  13. Cheers for the positive comments guys, much apprecitated Certainly going to try and get out and take more riding shots, kinda got an appetite for it now!
  14. Cheers For the night shots, I was using ISO 1600. Lens is a Canon 10-22.
  15. I'm too disheartened now, they looked ace until photobucket took a pile of turd and smeared it all over my shots EDIT - Tarty for the win, cheers to Tartybikes for hosting the better quality versions!
  16. Few shots of Mr Johns to share with y'all... I don't usually take riding pics with my proper camera, but I've been getting into it a bit more recently and I'm pretty happy with some of the results. 17. Nice one mate, impressive as always. It's been too long! Get yourself to Bristol when you get the new bike Are you going to the darkside by the way?
  18. BEAR! Yes Boon, loving it... Was a summer to remember, hurry and get back for some more antics, and 1 particular line you know you want (THUGS) Good work
  19. I purchased a Hope Pro II '07 from the US, and it was cheaper including shipping by a good £25/£30. Made in the UK, sent to the US, sent back to the UK, for cheaper than I could get it here. Ridiculous!
  20. Was the tyres popping off the rail... The Rail was narrower than his tyres!
  21. YOU DID IT! Finally it's done... And was so worth the wait! If only the camera could show just how challenging and original some of those lines were... Quite simply one of the most innovative riders out there. Just glad I had the pleasure to watch/film some of it getting nailed! Thugs and sluggers go home... Rowan's the daddy
  22. With regards to the stories involving CCTV... Why are they not recorded?
  23. Speaking of quality, what's this business about you moving to Bristol? Please say it's so...
