Just to double check I haven't been a complete retard.. Echo SL lockrings have a left hand thread right? so it is removed anti-clockwise? Really can't get it off :(

So.. snow sticks to brake pads and rims, friction from braking causes this snow to melt, due to the temperature, this water then freezes.... as it turns out, ice is not good as a braking surface....
