  1. v-pad spacers in between like avis have? the little ones have 5mm exactly for 1 ball washer and 1 bowl washer
  2. for sure they did fem analysis´s to the protos, but hows it come it said this design works?looks so wrong...
  3. i´d love to see a live stream of the event
  4. if you describe "sponsored" as getting free stuff from companies, yes. if you describe it as being good enough to be under contract and bound to make promotion and stuff,no. if youd know about my riding, you´d not be thinking i´m counting as a sponsored rider anyways lol,i am just not "good" enough sometimes its just knowing the right people and helping them out and get something in return. and then its wanting to give something back without being supposed to do,thats why my vids will have trialmarkt.de and marinobike logos in them. hope that makes sense

me for example. and @mark w:why do you always "give a f..." for everything technically related i write on here? you couldnt care less if it doesnt give you something to "falsify" my statements. its clear to see its my opinion on carbotecture stuff,at work i see loads and loads of f**cked up hs brakes since carbotecture appeared on the market, and loads of 2004/5 models on bikes that were used in salty winters, and theyre doing fine. thats mostly for trekking though, but hows a brake supposed to survive trials use if trekking use kills it? no beef intended, but it seems its some peoples hobby on here to try to "debunk" others opinions
  7. some clips from yesterday, and saturday
  8. if i´d get my vid thats in the making finished within the entering time i´d be not doing it for being rewarded with free stuff, the pure creativity thing of the last comp was enough for me to think its worth it,i just had no clips or even a good cam ready at this time(not that i wouldnt take free stuff if i won some, but it doesnt need it as a motivation i think)
  9. good point,i felt trialsy riding is more fun recently and in my surrounding area, switched parts(frame´s pretty much in between street´n trials) suddenly youll find lines you didnt even think of before
  10. to be honest everytime i saw a vid of you riding i thought that it has to be unhealthy... how long did you have your jaf bike now,few weeks? unexpected(not totally, see "unhealthy" comment)and sad news
  11. no,being nazis! :wink2: on topic:theres no evidence claiming we germans have invented grammar, which makes me angry(and yes i didnt make the space again intentional)
  12. on wooden stuff, no.on concrete youll notice nothing if its getting wet
  13. being a grammar nazi to a german has no effect at all haha we invented it
  14. custom is work, even for the owner
  15. pretty funny,i started the idea of making own pads here and i am the last to get started, will have to open a paypal case due to my stuff not arriving yet. how are your pads performing so far guys?
  16. with my stamina i would´ve been dying after this, awesome! that guy probably has never touched a cigarette lol
  17. i´d strongly recommend you to use the search function, this is probably one of the most discussed topics on here
  18. nice! but does the bb thread in enough with the thickness of that bash?or did you sink the bash where the bb sits?

actually carbotecture is plastic mixed up with carbon fibres, its just like theres a carbon wrapping company next door to maguras production place and they get the scrap parts from them, shred it and mix it in their plastic compound. or would one seriously BUY carbon fibre to shred it and mix it with cheap polymer? haha
  20. very cool, martin.too sad i didnt make it up to cologne yet for a session with you guys, will manage that as soon as possible!
  21. wow, thats exactly the way to go,dez-12 points!
  22. slightly ot,but i´d recommend blk mrkt badaboom bars,very nice feeling.1" clamp size though,so you´d need either shims or another stem. 80mm high,711mm wide.9.99 euro at hibike.de
  23. you could ask this question for carbon bars aswell,or even for aluminium frames...
  24. drill a small hole into it and get an "unscrewer",basically a left threaded spike shaped bolt. or a normal loooong metal screw and scew it out to the side where your bolt ends
