there was something like that earlier,it was called the "bergmönch" which would be "mountain-monk" basically a downhill device for hikers and climbers,i like the idea. looks weird though edit:i spied a 2014 hs33 on that thing....

coating aluminium with anything is a hard job,most stuff doesnt stay on the parts you painted over time, try to just roughen the old paint,and paint them silver,as the old paintjob is more likely to give a good adhesion
