  1. You know you're in Holland when posting on Trials -Forum is the closest you'll get to ANYTHING trials related
  2. Good looker , Kris . I don't understand why these aren't more popular , it's a fine frame and my 2 have served me well for a while now .
  3. Damn ! Sorry to hear that Waynio , I was kinda wondering where Physio went , seemed very knowlegable about sport related injuries .
  4. A trails rider ?...in Holland ... brain cannot comprehend ... It's like seeing evidence of life in an alien world . Pleased to meet you , Hezz0l , you've chosen the right sport in the wrong country . It seems there are at most 20 of us here , of whom only 10 or so are really serious about trials . Post sensible , correctly written questions / statements here and you'll be allowed into the main forum in no time , and a whole world of interesting , strange , funny and disturbing content . Enjoy ...
  5. Forget looks , the problem is the reduced field of vision and the lack of cooling , especially with Summer coming . They're also uneccesarily heavy , thus possibly causing neck injuries during landings . Might be an option for mounting a helmetcam , though .
  6. Nice stocks , trialsboy560 . Here are mine : [attachmentid=3822] But seriously , I ride a base , but given that there are already 2 posted above , I'll just add that they're very obedient on the back wheel , but somewhat heavy .
  7. Cool ! I used to live there for a while , unfortunately I hadn't yet discovered trials yet . I still visit England frequently to hook up with mates there , so might see you guys sometime . Sweet photos .
  8. Offer him swaps on other bike components , electrical goods etc ?
  9. Great shops suggested thus far , but don't neglect our beloved community's own For sale / wanted thread ...some bargains to be had there .
  10. Another vote in favour of the Base ta26 . It's a great frame for the money , and once the supplied bashplate has been discarded you're left with a reasonably light bike that's stable and obedient on the back wheel . My previous one :
  11. Do you have a high ping on most servers ? This can make controls seem unresponsive .

    Forks

It does seem that forks usually snap / fracture forwards away from the frame . Given my screen name Endohopper , I feel duty bound to respond to this topic . I'm running a pair of noname generic 40 euro forks , which have lasted well over a year and a half thus far , despite LOTS of endo hopping . I do intend to replace them soon as a precautionary measure , though .
  13. Well , my father currently works in the Seychelles ( off the African coast ) and my mother lives in Sweden , so they have little say in the matter , but are supportive in principle , but not financially . They're very fond of the idea of me being physically active though .
  14. Good looking bike there with nice colour coordination too . That must be soooo light . Hale -Bopp , Levy - Schumaker , Halley's ?
  15. Very nice . w00t!!!!11!1 I was correct about frame type .
  16. Damn ! Good luck with it , does it affect your balance at all ? Also QUOTE " I'm Resident DJ @ The Office in Hastings" I considered making a really bad joke about the possible relationship between pumping loud music and ear damage , but it would make me sound boring and old .
  17. Preventative maintenance can save painful accidents and big shop bills . Does noone else here complete at least a weekly checklist of important systems ? Might have something to do with my dad being a pilot .
  18. Careful choice of grips and gloves goes a long way , but a few degreees more / less angling of bars can make a major difference too .
  19. Great video Joel , some very stylish streety / spinny riding there . So refreshing that you chose something other than shouty rock to accompany it too . You snapped your kneecap ? glad it's healed dude , because you're clearly a talented rider from whom I hope to see more .
  20. Seems well made . Now totally off - topic , but the square downtube on your frame intrigues me ...what frame is that , a Pace ?
  21. What exactly is her objection to you keeping it indoors ? Grease , mud , dogs**t on tyres ? Are you not even allowed to store it in your own room ? Get the bike super clean and shiny , then allocate a space in your room and try to persuade her highlighting the security factor . I can't even remember a time when my bike wasn't stored in my flat / appartment / house , either in the U.K or Holland . Failing that , plant some antipersonell mines , and set up barbed wire and armed guards .
  22. Would make a nice ornament , but given that this was purchased off Mr.Remvik Aasen , and the english usage of the topic starter , I suspect postage would be from Norway or thereabouts ?
  23. Reprazentin' with tha bikehut stackers . Good looking bike , except the slightly overlong hoses ?
