  1. I bought the tifosi xl bag, and it was ok, just ok, it did the job like. the reason I bought the xl was so I could pack my tent and all that with the bike. (used my tent and clothes as padding). I heard good things about the brand x as well, the only thing I did hear was that it won't withstand too much bad treatment.
  2. yeah dude it is a serious shame, was really looking forward to it! yeah that sounds like a plan man
  3. Don't think I'd ever be going as big as you man, but thats fairly worrying. Could be plumping for the arcades then, cos there's very few other 31.8 bars that big.
  4. Yeah I knew there was a slightly different geo alright, how much of a difference do you think it'd make?
  5. They're seriously expensive though, and I think the tactics are a similar geo. I just can't afford the arcade risers
  6. yeah I tried less spacers, and I found that too hard to lift. I guess once I get it, I can test combos of bar/stem and height etc.
  7. A very valid point, my hope is to test the bars with the long stem, and with the existing stem (90 x 35) and see what looks nicest and rides nicest for me.
  8. Thinking of buying them for my fourplay, giving the bike a bit of an overhaul and spruce up, and gonna be running a 110 x mid rise stem, with 30mm of stackers. (I was struggling for space on the real wheel, hence the 110 stem). What's the thoughts on the bars with the stem?
  9. Thats a cheap Chinese video camera thing I was singing the praises of. Haha it does, looks like we're trying to use the lighter to power the camera
  10. make sure the fun police don't see that bonfire statement! ehhh unfortunately no, I've got uni exams until the Monday it's finished, i'm f**king gutted! I do intend on paying bing a wee visit during the summer at some stage though
  11. Firstly, nice arse Dan. secondly I'm surprised nobody mentioned bite point control for the dinner brake thing.
  12. got myself a few pallets finally! and buying a new stem..let the practice commence!

it's a fourplay, but I've been struggling for space on it, so buying a longer stem and higher bars to give me some bar/stem combos to mess with, and hopefully find a setup that suits

  13. Actually prefer his brakeless video from a few months back, this one is a wee bit to artsy for me. The slackline was unreal though
  14. I tend to look about 3 feet ahead of the front wheel, I normally do ok. my technique could be flawed if I try to manual it!
  15. Hi mate, I went to radfest from Ireland last year, I flew ryanair and used a bike bag. First advice, if you can get lumps of polystyrene, pack the bag or box and then use the polystyrene to prop in the areas around the frame, this will stop the pressure being on the frame when shit is inevitably f**ked on top of it. Next, anything that can bend, like your discs, take them off the wheels. as above, tensioner too! (I learned the hard way!) If you've got an old hub, or anything to place between the stays when the wheel is off, that's pretty essential. There's some decent guides on YouTube and if you choose a bike bag, CRC is normally cheap enough. Oh and finally, label everything clear as day, and weight check before you leave for the airport!
  16. Unbelievably good riding! refreshing to see someone ride that style on a streety bike! Wish I could have even a tenth of that back wheel control!
  17. yeah I'm considering it,just need to save the pennys!
  18. I'm from Ireland, so would Euro be as strong against it? also is it just a bike and camp job?like radfest? saw the inspired vid last year, promised myself I'd try go this year!
  19. how much spending I need for the week if I could get there?
  20. first time on the bike in over a month, only on an hour, 180 to fakie tyre slide...crack ....tensioner snapped, no idea how. cannot catch a break on this bike at all

  21. ha I do sound pretty ridiculous, just that in my town people would scream abuse at you for wearing dodgy trainers, so you can imagine the helmet! thanks for the advice dude, I think I'll order the tsg,if that doesn't look ok nothing will!
  22. Cheers Ben, it actually looks ok, I was gonna buy the pro-tec lasek but it's costing me around the same with postage and duties, so it's a toss up between the 2, I dont care which helmet I get so long as I don't look like a bellend.
  23. Cheers for that mate, so you reckon it's a nice helmet , but won't last too long? How does it look when on the head? It obviously doesn't stick out half as much?
  24. hey, was looking for a helmet that didn't make me look like a gimp, most helmets I wear look far too bulky on my head, and I've a fat head to start with!! saw the tsg superlight, and was curious has anyone tried one? are they low profile?worth the money?
  25. nice video mate, similar to what I'm working on at the minute, hoping to get filming this week!
