  1. Yesterday I tried to fit a RQ/Trial King into my GU stock frame and it doesn't fit really as it's too high. Now I did a little research and was thinking about the Der Kaiser Projekt. Would this one fit without cutting down the knobs. Is it as high as the Trail King in 2.4? I'd need some 2mm to make it fit. I guess two or three rides and the Trail King would fit as well as the 610 chain is new. Cheers, Nico. p.s.: Running Trialtech Sport Lite rims if that matters.
  2. Kinda funny as I have the same fork and knew how it looked before I even bought it. With a fork that expensive I think reading the description is kinda mandatory.
  3. Bent as in "bent after the failure of the brake". edit: Ok. So if it's the flex in the adaptor... should've known that before using the Shimano one.
  4. That wouldn't explain my failure as the adaptor was only bent and both bolt holes were broken.
  5. Mine broke on both bolts and the adaptor was "only" bent and not broken.
  6. Happened to my 640 Zees with a 180mm rotor as well.
  7. Just another question. Would it be even recommendable to run the stem that low? How does it affect riding? It's gonna be a 1090/+75/380 frame.
  8. Feeling is exactly the same. Performance plus would only be the durability.
  9. Goodridge -> very expensive with no performance difference to the original Shimano ones (at least when it comes to trials).
  10. How come that the HS11 doesn't have a TPA. From what I know it does have one. It's just you have to use an allen key.

Funny that my Echo has an integrated one. Straight from the factory as it states here on Facebook:

So a drop in headset is a integrated one or not? My Echo does have an integrated headset and I don't think it's any weaker than a normal one. AND WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILABLE.

    Pretty much. Yes.

If you mean integrated by "drop in" then yes, it does have a drop in headset. If I don't have to wait till end of summer I'll definitely get one of those frames.

Anyone knows when this frame set will be available? Integrated brake booster AND M6 bolts. Can it get any better?
  16. Dunno what it is, just know that it gets hot when poured in water and that you shouldn't inhale it.
  17. I've always used this dry chemical you use for cleaning your sewers. Put it into a bowl or sth. some water into it and let it resolve. Then you put the part you want to de-anodize into the liquid for no more than 30 seconds, and rinse it off with clean water. Voila.
  18. Hello, I've got a very good offer on some Try All Carbon Forks with aluminum insert but am uncertain when it comes to the steerer length as it might be too short. I've had aluminum and steel steerers ending 5mm below the top of the clamp area but have always put a spacer under the top cap when it came to carbon steerers in order to fully clamp it. What do you recon? Is this too short for these forks (this steerer)? Thanks.
  19. Won 3 grand today on a quiz show. That's gonna be a nice ride. :D

I kinda fancy the new GU with integrated booster and M6 bolts

  20. What was wrong with the V2 Radix? Does the Rockman rim have angled or parallel sidewalls?
  21. You are so right. Got mine yesterday and swapped it with the Race lever.
  22. Seriously, try to buy a new diaphragm first and re-bleed it like they do in the Hope video tutorial. It's no rocket science.
  23. Wasn't talking about this but about the bleeding procedure. Replacing the diaphragm every time is indeed bollocks.
