Ditto! Im in awe, bloody superb video! More please! Out of interest, whats a clamshell?... one way of describing a tiny camcorder such as the Canon MV960? Also Steve where do you work?
  2. Rubbish video, the guy had moves though!
  3. This CD I got from ebay for like £3 by The Casuals, only 2 tracks on it, quite rare apparently. Pretty damn good.
  4. Didn't see this!! The torrent for this program (Sports Relief special) is available from FinalGear.com
  5. Hopefully you've seen John's edited first post I totally understand people's hate for Apple stuff. Don't get me wrong I like my G5 tower and the simplicity of Final Cut (and the fact its used a lot in the industry), but I don't totally bum Apple like some of the tards that queue for days to get a new iPod or whatever. iTunes works for some, doesn't for others, its just the way it is I guess. And yeah, I was disappointed with this video for all the reasons that have been stated already lol.
  6. Dya know what dude, you're one of a few people who have said that, I dunno what it is, just the way I hold my camera I can get well smooth sometimes... but then the Sony A1 is tiny so it aint that hard haha! Thanks mate Cheers for all the other comments guys, I know it was only remixed (old) footage but seemed to work ok, I think John only wanted it for his facebook profile haha
  7. It aint Apple dude, its the people who make the videos! I think Chris needs a proper production crew or something
  8. MAD moves, bit of a noob for not wearing a helmet though, doesn't take that much effort to put something on your head does it? EDIT: Just uploaded it for peeps to TrialsTube, have to say, most impressed with upload speed, speed of encoding and the quality of encoding, nice one chaps!
  9. I dunno how much mine weighs, but I know its not going to be the lightest. I use Mavic EX721's front and rear, no drilling, I dont have the lightest of components either, cos I just don't want anything to buckle, snap, crack or break. Just want stuff to last I guess!
  10. That place looks amazing! Good little bit of escapism for our resident Action Man!
  11. Nope? It was Nick Goddard... if thats what you mean?
  12. Not asking for that much are you dude Guiness.
  13. The orange relates to Johns involvement with Heatsink, a colour people can relate to brake pad... colouring lol!
  14. Class A, arrest this man haha! Sweet as mate, loved it!
  15. Completely agree, in fact ive told John exactly what you've said and he agrees as well. Once he gets better after his shoulder operation he wont be seen riding without one, he tells me, so its all good! Expect more footage of John this year.
  16. Here's a short promo video I edited for John. Some remixed footage from MISC2007 and a couple of shots I didn't use. Shrewsbury.mov (tv.isg.si)
  17. Same camera as mine (HVR-A1E) only without the XLR audio/DVCAM recording function as well as a few other odds and sods, good little camera though! To be honest, I didn't like the video at all. Its great you're experimenting and hopefully it will give you the skills to use on other projects, but I don't think it worked too well for the riding clips you had to play with. Music sounded like it was from the Bourne Ultimatum OST or something haha! I think the bitrate must have been a bit too high as well as it was a little jerky, even with the great Flip4Mac that James mentioned.
  18. Ive got a Gusset one, got it from Tarty a long time ago. Onza have since etched their logo onto the same tensioner. Non the less its been great, you have to adjust it sometimes which doesn't bother me.
  19. Yeah im really looking forward to John getting back on 2 wheels, hes coming on the 10 day roadtrip around France with me and the rest of the guys in the Summer, should get some good riding on tape!
  20. Here's mine. Its pretty tidy for the time being.
  21. Hey dude, Lotus owned their own Cherry Picker, so that wasn't a problem in terms of hiring one. All we had to do was to give the operator an hours notice as it literally took an hour to drive it down to the bottom of the test track haha!
