  1. Hours worked on car over the weekend : 10 Suspension bushes replaced: 0 f**king car. managed to remove all the old bushes. the bolts that hold the hub to the lower arm are all seized, so i ended up cutting them. (the rear bolt is a eccentric bolt to control the rear toe) the outer sleeve on the front bush's was so rusted it couldnt be re-used. All the inner sleeves on the new bushes are too big to properly fit the new bushes. Piece of Shit!
  2. Toyota celica, gen 7. Mini's far more sexy
  3. Postmans been! Some exhaust wadding to 'hopefully' quieten my car down: And more bushes than a 90's porn film!
  4. Toyota celica, Gen 7, passed mot 6 months ago
  5. Rear Subframes out! Was actually quite an easy job, no snapped bolts, and only an issue with one bolt seized into the bush sleeve. Attacked the subframe with a wire brush to see how bad it actually was: f**kkkkk!
  6. glad you didnt take that as me being patronizing I always think most seat sub frames are massively overpriced for what they are. its box'd steel welded together, with a couple tabs depending on the car/seat
  7. Looks like a fairly simple seat subframe to weld up @Luke Rainbird, well done
  8. Moto trials always impress's me. on one hand you've got all the power/torque from an petrol engine, but then you have to deal with all the added weight/complexity
  9. #facepalm and ive got to f**king tax the heap next month!
  10. Celica, gen 7. lets not get started on what cheese they use for 10mm bolts
  11. My cars a piece of shit! Started looking at the filler neck today to see if its blocked, and found all of this: The rear subframe is rotten to shit! the first and third pictures are of where the rear upper arms mount to.
  12. Love the scale of the Angry thread; from serious relationship advice, to a shit MIG welder
  13. full 2.5" stainless exhaust ordered
  14. It does look quite cute/simple
  15. @MadManMike Fancy doing me a massive favour and measuring up the rear shocks for me? Looking at using something like that for the rear of the celica, as coilovers are expensive as fook for it.
  16. it just pisses me off cause its got shit loads of my current details, and i could tell them 90% of the emails ive received, but thats not how their system works
  17. Microsoft are cnuts! havnt been able to access my email for days, due to there being 'suspicious activities' on my account. my old phone number is un-usable, and otherwise they insist on checking your account activity with sent emails. I dont send emails, and the only ones i do is to myself with no subjects.
  18. I've got a custom made 15/16" sprocket welded onto a land rover rear grab handle. Is that worse?
  19. If i understand your layout correctly: if the router is only there for internet access and DHCP, you should beable to connect all the devices via the switch, and allow them to communicate over that. The router will use DHCP to give the devices IP address's, and the devices will use the switch to communicate
  20. i know where your coming from, but if you have (and i have) read through Nicks 203 pages of his A3 on ASN, he clearly knows his shit, yet he's willing to listen to other people and take advice where necessary. I see your point, you drive the car f**k all, so the risk of rolling it is very small. But if your going to install a roll cage, you do it right from the word go. Its not people having a go at you, its the fact that if you're going to install something to protect you in the event of you crashing, you do it right from the word go.
  21. Jeremy Foley's crash at pikes peak shows how much strength a proper rollcage can give a car. To get out of that wreckage with no major injuries!
  22. Natural selection at its finest
  23. Have had to do it once before, dial gauge off one of the cam lobes usually.
