  1. Started getting back into riding recently, had hell of a ride yesterday and started getting my gapping technique back, managed to get two decent sized gaps. Suffering today though
  2. Its usually a plastic/rubber pipe coming off the brake master servo, going to an engine breather (for a petrol) or a vacuum pump for a diesel
  3. Not far off it it would collapse if you pumped the pedal a few times whilst stationary.
  4. Me being a knob replaced some of my brake servo vacuum hose with silicone hose a while back. I knew its been dodgy for a while, and replaced it yesterday with some proper vacuum hose. (because the mot is due in a couple of weeks ) my brakes now feel bloody amazing! as soon as you touch the pedal, it starts to bite.
  5. Cruise control finally installed and working, going to be a lazy drive to Radfest
  6. didnt they sort that out for you? bit slack of them
  7. i launched my classic mini over a bridge launch ramp in preson a few years back. One of my arches and a spotlight fell off i'll see if i can find the video of it. its more of a buzz than painful
  8. you frequent usually? All diesels ive driven sit at 90 degrees too. i think the temperate gauges are a bit of a con on newer cars though. swear i read somewhere that they show 90 degrees just to show its 'up to temperate' but the actual water temperate can be a bit out either way.
  9. Diesels are designed to run hotter than petrols actually.... thats why the thermostat are different....
  10. doesnt sound like it. Can you hear the fan kicking in? really sounds like a fan issue to be honest.... whats the thermostat rated at? 90 degrees sounds a bit to hot for a petrol.....
  11. is the fan kicking in? what state in the radiator in? air generally bleeds out of cooling systems pretty quick, it wont stop the fan from kicking in. if the car runs cool under load/moving, id check the fan switch/fan.
  12. thought so. found my helmet, so im good to go
  13. i'm booked. guessing piss pots are required?
  14. Getting the keys for my new place tomorrow Booked Radfest Booked Thorpe park for day after radfest (as my mate says, whilst your up there, you might as well ) Lots to look forward to
  15. the only thing about the symetric was the freewheel 'lip' was so thin, that mine basically bent inwards, locking the bashring onto the cranks. In the end i filled the lip off, and just used a 1.5mm bb spacer to hold the freewheel away from the bashring
  16. the try all symetric was a pretty good design for the 'anti-rotation'. I just found the gap slightly too small though, and had to file a bit off my cranks
  17. Is there a price for people who dont want to lick your ring?
  18. i was supprised how little smoke i had to be honest probably taken the same effort, but the 30mm doesnt have a sleeve againt the arm, and i wanted to do as little damage to the arms as possible. havnt decided which ones to go for yet, was bored and had a spare hour so thought i'd strip them both down anyway. considering how much effort it took to remove the bush, and that i'd be looking at uprated bushes, im still not sorn off the idea of using mk2 arms. I'll see what's about and how cheap/easy they are to get before deciding though
  19. Always a good day when you need to get the blowtorch out....
  20. Does it also wipe your arse for you?
  21. Think swindon beat us....
  22. This Theres one section of it thats single carridgeway, and there was a news article that says the traffic backs up because 'it flows too well' Bloody Cornish logic!
  23. i was waiting for a comment about my ex from you, but even from your standards, thats epic
  24. Had a pretty awesome day. Ordered a medium Espresso Frappuccino at starbucks at lunch today, because they didnt have any medium cup, i somehow ended up with a brimmed large cup, and a full small cup.... Also looked at a flat today, which seems to be pretty sweet, may actually be moving out in the next couple of weeks. Will be good to stand on my own two feet and sort my life out!
