  1. Im pretty sure the mounts on my lite are a bit wonky too, seeing as i couldnt get an echo booster to fit. My brake still works dandy, just had to find a slightly wider booster and all was good.
  2. Well for starters, they arent both 06 models.
  3. Those chips we're dangerous.
  4. Why is no one else awake at this hour, its the official end of term for us uni chumps, time for ridiculous pranks at silly times. Come to think of it, i have the key for the flat next door and i know of at least one who hasn't locked his door. Any ideas for original pranks and quick? Newspapering everything is out of the question as that involves at least a 5 minute walk to the shops.
  5. Surely you've taken into account, combine the two technologies that tesla and honda are useing, and you have a potential super car, with no drawbacks? No? I cannot see why anyone would not want to invest serious money into this, sure initially the cost will be massive, but think of the potential profits. You have the. first green car which can spank anything else on the market, i know if i was a millionaire thats the first thing i would buy. Edit: Electric engines have a straight torque curve according to what i've heard, so low down think of the power!! Im pretty sure anyone with a turbo will cry a river.
  6. I seem to recall something about emissions and global warming, but i could be wrong...
  7. Who goes to bed before 5 anyway, good bit of cod on veteran, f**king chernobyl.
  8. I would give them a definite thumbs up. I'm not exactly the hardest rider, but mine have been solid, nice and grippy and feel good under your feet. Worth a pop i'd say.
  9. Looks pretty much identical to O2 simplicity. I'd go for O2 over t-mobile, but thats a personal preference

I guess, at least that makes a change haha. One of the best races i've ever seen!

Not to put a downer on Hamilton's winning of the season. But did anyone else find the fact glock lost 18 seconds in one lap, therefore allowing hamilton past, slightly suspicious. Yeah it was getting wet, but that is a bit fishy...
  12. I was under the impression that the hs33 has different sized pistons to the hs11, so i wouldn't just replace the lever and expect fantastic results. Your best bet is to try and get your hands on a whole second hand hs33, which wont be massively expensive compared to just buying a new lever blade!
  13. I would imagine all the people that invested in this bank have a fair amount of dollar, which in turn would make them quite influential. At a guess, perhaps the government fancy getting in their good books to try and drum up some support for poor old gordon.
  14. When i contacted an accounting firm they said they were very reluctant to look at people without a uni qualification. Not necessarily because you need it, but it just proves you have the educational skills to pass the accounting exams. Personally, although it sounds rude, if you are worried about failing A levels that much, that might not be the right path for you. Nevertheless, if you did manage to get an A/B in maths, you might find a firm that are willing to take you on, maybe if you have any contacts in that field it would be time to pull some strings. Good luck whatever happens!
  15. I personally wouldn't go near that hub with a barge pole. To have that many engagements in that amount of space with a ratchet and pawl would just be bad news. Even if they are good quality, theres a reason even the hope "trials" hub only has 48 clicks or whatever.

6x9's just sounded like the thing to have, i know nothing about ICE Its a mark 4 golf, so plenty of room, no idea about the front speakers, but its annoying having nothing at all in the rear as i think the previous owner removed the stock ones in the back. I think I've still got you on the old messenger mike, so ill probably give you a bell at some point!

Cheers for all the advice guys. Ill probably plump for that pioneer or something similar, looks good to me. On another note, can anyone suggest some good 6x9's, no price limit really, but obviously nothing crazy. Just solid well priced goodness.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking mike. I cant see it being as easy to navigate through the player than directly on the ipod, and I've always used an ipod to tape adapter before anyway. Im guessing i'll be safe with anything sony?

So is it just that front aux in thing that is needed to plug an i pod in? What cable do you need for that? Edit: Cheers danny, i did assume amazon wouldnt be the best place to look, but was too lazy to google for something better

I'm looking to get a new head unit for my car, and need a bit of advice as im pretty clueless about this sort of thing. All i really want is something that will sound nice, look good and have a wire so i can easily plug my ipod into it. I've looked on amazon and seen a few nice looking Sony ones, including this which does exactly what i want, but is it worth £110? I also saw this which also looks good and has good reviews, but what would i need to connect my ipod to it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Phil.
  21. Haha, tights ***. We dressed up as ninja monkeys on Saturday and there was about 10 of us prancing around in them, amazing fun.
  22. I was talking to an Australian guy at a party a while back, and he said no one drinks it over there. Its probably even brewed in england, hence the lack of australian feelings
