    Rc Car Thread!

My dad and I used to race 1/5th scale, but now we dont. I think the rolling chassis for his car was about £1500, and mine was about £800, plus servos which were £100 each for the steering servos, and about £40 for the engines. Plus radio gear, my dad had the hot shit Futaba stuff which was about £300 for the set, and I had some good quality stuff too which I got for £120 second hand, so between us we had about £3k worth of kit :/ Then it got too expensive so we gave up I still have a little Yokomo all carbon fibre electric car, but the fuse always used to go on the speed controller when I raced it, plus all the little kids would get arsey if I was winning and they would smash into it I also had a Traxxas 1/10th scale nitro car which had upgraded everything, and an entire spare rolling chassis just incase. We used to race a lot http://www.mmmrc.org/ That was the track we used to race 1/5th and 1/10th on, about 10 mins from my house
  2. I would have said it was easier to download an open source e-commerce base than to make your own. If you don't really have any idea about programming then it's not going to be an easy task.
  3. I've had nothing but good times with Virgin.
  4. What the f**k. Change your avatar. It's considered kinda rude to take someone elses off this forum and use it as your own, it's also damn confusing.
  5. "Related to the EPSON Stylus Photo RX420 Series printer/scanner/copier." So that's okay.
  6. American Football is sick. I would be watching but I'm lazy. Might d/l it.
  7. No no drama, we don't want no drama. No no drama, no no no no drama.
  8. No probs. For some reason loads of my music is all over the place, like the tags are f**ked, it's not actually like that on my iMac, which is weird.
  9. Yeah they're touring with Paramore
  10. Yeah I've had it about 3 months. Mine's jonmack. My library is underground hip-hop, pop punk, hardcore, some 80s pop, popular bands like brand new, circa survive, jimmy eat world, etc. and bits and pieces thrown in the mixer too. About 8000 songs.
  11. Well it is, do you know how big and well known NFG are? For him to pick me out of a whole venue full of people is pretty cool, especially considering how much I love them.
  12. It was me!! I also got a shout out half way through the set. Jordan said "You guys down there keep doing that, especially the guy in the blacklisted shirt" and I was the dude in the blacklisted shirt. It was one of the best gigs i've ever been to in my life to be honest, even though both the support acts sucked (you me at six sound so much better on record, but im not a fan of them really) but yea, was an awesome night! Sorry if it seemed well random, but I just had to say hey cos of the hoody! But yeah, the gig was f**king amazing. So good, I'm still really hyped about it even though i wont get to see them again. It was amazing.

    Cheap Xc Bike

It points to an area in which those houses share the same post code. Each house doesn't have a separate post code, your next door neighbours and the people across the street from you all have the same postcode. It's usually about 10-15 houses or so that share one.
  18. So she thinks you're too good for her? Or the other way round? I dunno what to suggest really, perseverance is the key really, that's all you can do. Just carry on being who you are and being there for her as you have been and sooner or later she will realise you are actually being genuine and things should start to fall into place.
  19. No. It's their digital compact. As snappel said it's got lots of slr-type features in a compact camera. The Sigma DP1 is very similar.
  20. It's supposed to be a promotional video for a magazine/website, rather than a splash intro.
  21. For the disc I'd recommend an Avid BB7 or a Hope Mono Trial. Both awesome brakes when properly setup!
