Guess that's part of the reason why Koxx are branching out into BMX/MTB just so they don't have to rely on Trials 100%, as the market is pretty miniscule. (I'm quoting you a lot today)
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=88410 Check that out too, if it happens again thats a sure fire way of fixing them. They just get full of gunk over time and need a clean out.
May well be a Plazmatic trials rim. I used to have one, then I got my wheel re-built and left the rim in the LBS, then when I went back 3 years later, it was gone
I dunno how old my VPs are but they're pretty f**ked. Gonna get some new ones sooner or later but for now, I'll stick with grindy bearings. I wish I could just pop them open and put some sealed ones in there instead.
As soon as I've got a bit of cash in the new year I'll be more than happy to donate, it wont be much but every little helps. I really want to see the Mini finished exactly how Oli would have wanted it.
To be honest I'd be more tempted to do it bit by bit, by hand, with f**k off thick rubber gloves on and lots of paintbrushes. You need to really watch out too, it strips anodizing in about 10-15 seconds. I just googled strip anodizing with caustic soda, and got this. http://astro.neutral.org/anodise_tips.shtml I'm sure if you look around you could find information much more useful than any of us can give. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari...-8&oe=UTF-8
