    Pimp My Wall

But but but if you want to watch "real trials" (I guess you mean taps, sidehops and gaps?) then just watch any of the videos on here. There's hundreds to choose from. But Manifesto is something completely different. Not that I really care, if you don't like Manifesto I really don't care. I think it's great. Almost as good as the TrialNoir DVD
  3. What lens are you using? That gap that Matt Arkwright is doing looks huge! But for some reason the cotton reel is very bent And how do you get such awesome colours? All good pictures anyway P.S. Mark's improved loads
  4. I think all you can do is set Firefox to be the default browser and delete all the shortcuts to IE. Things like MSN will still try to have their wicked way and use IE though.

    Pimp My Wall

I think it looks pretty cool actually And seeing as we're on the subject, anyone who doesn't like Manifesto is a 'tard
  6. I thought he did, I was just surprised he didn't have loads of Mongoose stickers all over his bike.
  7. Yeah I know. When Thomas Ohler did that 360 up a curb at the start I was all like "what the f**k?" So yeah, you can do the same stuff on a long bike, it's probably gonna be a bit harder to spin and bunny hop but easier to sidehop/gap/tap etc. You pays your money, you takes your choice
  8. Is he riding for a team at the moment?

    Contact Lenses

I wear contacts occasionally, but I find glasses much more comfortable. Have you tried finding a pair of glasses that you like? Contact lenses aren't too much hassle, but at the end of a day (probably 14 hours or so like Janson), they're just completely stuck to my eyes and sometimes my eyes feel a bit itchy when I'm using them. Now I generally just use them if I go riding or some other sport, and wear glasses the rest of the time. Wearing contacts for longer than you're supposed to isn't a very good idea. The front of the eye has no blood supply, and relies on oxygen diffusing in from the outside. So you don't wanna be stopping the air getting to them for too long at a time. I'd be tempted to try the monthly ones where they stay in all the time, though. As long as they weren't itchy or anything.
  10. It's basically the opposite of the wide angle, it's a zoom. It just magnifies everything by 2x, so you have more power at the tele (long range) end of the zoom, sacrificing the wide angle capabilities.

    New Psu

So is mine, and it powers my system (A64 3200+, 9800XT, TV card etc) just fine. Basically because Shuttle make decent PSUs that punch above their weight a bit.
  12. You don't need a chainwhip to do them up anyway, because it tightens up against the hub action. I've never used a chainwhip to get it off either, but I imagine that would make things a lot easier. And yeah, I only ever do the lockring up finger-tight, no need to go overboard.
  13. Read this. And it made the BBC News, HERE. Awesome stuff

    Computer Help

Why not put the router/modem nearer the new PC (or the old one I guess). That way you have all the benefits of wired network (speed mainly, security, reliability) and don't have to buy a card. That is unless you have only one point to plug the modem in (I.e. if it's NTL rather than normal broadband through your phone line). Seriously though, I wouldn't bother with wireless networking for desktops, there's no point. Just spend some time wiring the house up and you'll thank me a few months down the line. EDIT: Seems I should read threads Oh well, +1 vote for that idea

    Argh! Ps2

Check the connection at the back of the PS2, that can make it B&W if it's not in properly. Or if it's not on exactly the right channel (that happens with my TV, for some reason there are 2 channels for the scart leads, one in B&W and one normal). Or is there a switch on the scart lead?
  16. And if you missed any: FinalGear.com. They have torrents for all the latest episodes and they're pretty reliable, I got the one I missed last week in just under 2 hours
  17. It's because people under 16 aren't allowed to gamble, and so companies aren't allowed to sell any form of gambling to children. So if they didn't say "no purchase necessary" then they wouldn't be allowed to sell Kit-Kats to children.
  18. I think Ouzo is exactly the same as Sambucca. If not then it's very similar. It's one of those things that splits people - you either love it or you hate it. I love it though. But Amaretto is totally different - it's almond-flavoured I think. P.S. Ouzo and Sambucca are colourless, they're not green...
  19. I think people are missing the point. Getting the link location is not the same as uploading to ImageShack. Hot linking isn't really allowed in the world of the internet, you should use your own host rather than raping someone else's bandwidth. So it's a useful tool if you understand what it's for...

    180's

Yeah, 180-ing up stuff and 3's are a different technique. I still think that two wheel bunny hops are loads easier for 180's though.
  21. Looks to me like you might be starting the jump a bit late, and you're kinda hitting the wall on the way up. You'd be surprised how early you can start the hop and still get up onto the wall. I'd try that first Also just try and jump up, not forwards towards the bars. Just rely on your speed to get the distance, and concentrate on jumping upwards. Do that and you'll end up nicely on the wall, with the front wheel in the air. Hopefully

    24seven

Looks pretty nice for £750. Anyone ridden one?
  23. Yeah, but it's not exactly quick is it? A clever thing for this extension would be if it pasted the resulting URL (with or without IMG tags) onto the clipboard. Now that would be useful. Shame I don't use Firefox really...
  24. Looks like a nice guitar but I really don't like those sort of shape. Same applies for the Gibson Explorer and Flying V (most uncomfortable guitar anyway). Enjoy it anyway.
