That sessionclothing thing... Well there is no real site (correct me if I'm wrong)? And there's another clothing make called Sessions, which I would say have been around longer. That bench looks cool though (the outside one).

  3. I never had any problems with my XTs. I ran them for 5 years until the bushing finally went (although I have kinda fixed it so might put them on the BMX). To be honest, the only difference between XT and XTR is the pimp factor, and maybe XTR will last longer. In terms of feel they are identical.

    New Pitbull

Because it's not that simple. If you do that you create an overly stiff section of tube, so stress risers form at the ends of the weld. Which can lead to the actual frame itself cracking, not just the mount. And there's something weird about that frame. Looks like a mod with 26" wheels. Is that a good thing?
  5. Haha sorry Dave, but you know it's true :P
  6. I think it's pretty stupid to think we can fight terrorism with Tanks, but obviously the government knows better :P Haha :-
  7. Yeah, the HD axle doesn't have the 5mm allen keys. The allen bolt you speak of is 3/32", which is a bit annoying really.
  8. Bunny hopping is my main aim for the next few weeks. I've never really been able to do it on my Koxx, the front end kinda comes up unpredictably. Sometimes really fast, sometimes so slow that you face-plant the wall... But I wanna learn - it's just such a cool way of riding. You can do them fast, you can do them slow. To backwheel, frontwheel, two wheels, wallrides, 180s etc. It's one of those really fundamental things that people should be able to do, but kids these days just can't. And JT you just gotta practise.
  9. Yeah, but who would have guessed that it wasn't Davetrials? :P
  10. Different (much better) lever on the HS33, and a booster. The HS11 is pretty much a waste of money for trials I would say. There are plenty of second hand HS33's kicking about, just get one :P
  11. Something like that yeah. He reckoned he was just better on the 26", and wasn't finding 24" fun. His bike was a bit odd though - I think it's fairly long (for a shitBMX :- ), and he had a really short stem, so maybe it needs a bit of tweaking to be nice. I liked it from the very small play I had on it though. You would have thought 24" would suit him, and he was still way better on it than I can ever hope to be :P
  12. Jesus, will someone please buy JT's lever! haha. I like the shape of shimano levers (XT or XTR), but Avids are just as good and slightly cheaper :P
  13. The difference is that Clive makes frames because he wants to, for no profit, whereas Curtis are in it for the money a bit more (understandable seeing as they are a business...). Does anyone besides boon have a Curtis 24"?
  14. Yeah, it's just a bunny hop. Most people seem to be doing taps these days, but Craig and Tunni are definitely showing that it's possible to to bunny hop stuff well. Bunny hops are good if you have loads of speed (IE big run up) :P
  15. http://tartybikes.co.uk/news.php /shameless plug (N) Nah that is actually what I had pasted.
  16. For front or back? 20" or 26"? For front on a 26", I swear by a Panaracer FireXC pro 2.1. I think they're about 500g, which is about as light as you're gonna get. Plus the grip is fine for me. A lot of (compy) people are starting to go for big fat heavy front tyres for natural (Something like a maxxis single ply). It's up to you really. And El Gatos are shit (N) No pinch protection whatsoever and the grip isn't amazing either. For the back I would say get a heavier tyre and sod the weight. Heavier tyre = more pinch protection = you can run lower pressures = better grip and more bounce and nicer "feel". But for a lightweight tyre, I think Panaracer Megablasters are about 800g. Very big and fat, and cheap (£13!) if you can get hold of them still?

    Ebay Scam?

Tobe honest, anything that's done outside of ebay could be a scam. Like people have said, don't send the bike until you have the cash. Especially watch out if they ask you to pay via western union. Even Paypal if they're not verified. Bank transfers can be dodgy too - apparently sometimes the money can appear in your account and then disappear a couple of days later once you've sent the item. So yeah, just proceed with caution! In fact I'd be tempted to just bosh it back up on eBay. If the guy wants it, he can bid for it as usual (N)

    Cheap Airlines

Yar, I've booked it now anyway. Cheers for the help everyone. I'm going because my aunty/uncle/cousins live there and the rest of my family is going, so it'll be good to see them all again. And more importantly I'm bored this week because I don't have a frame to ride. Still (Y)

    Smoking

Yeah you're right. Just because you can't prove outright that someone has died from passive smoking doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. It's actually not possible to prove that smoking DEFINITELY causes lung cancer, because you can get cancer in any cell without smoking (Also, cancer usually develops a couple of years AFTER the carcinogen damages the DNA, so you won't find evidence of the carcinogen in the cancerous cell on a biopsy - I.E. "hit and run"). But there is such strong correlation between smoking and lung cancer that everyone knows smoking = cancer, only stupid people can't see the link. To be honest I don't mind if people smoke. That's their own problem. I can't see the point myself, but I'm not gonna lose any sleep over people that decide to smoke. What I do mind is people breathing their smoke over me. Fair enough, f**k up your own health, but don't drag me down with you. I can't wait until they ban smoking in pubs and stuff. Maybe I'll enjoy a nice pint a bit more often, knowing that I'm not at risk of getting what must be about the worst disease in the world. P.S. Carcinogens don't have to be radioactive (Y)

    Cheap Airlines

Thank you for all the replies (Y) A lot of the cheap airlines don't go to Jersey which is a bit annoying. And I'll be leaving next week some time, so August is too late unfortunately. Thanks for trying though. STA somehow doesn't understand Jersey, so I guess that means they don't go there. And I guess the bus/train/boat plan ain't so bad, although it'd be a LOT of travelling (I can't be arsed (Y) ). I found a Thompson flight for £76 inc taxes and stuff from Doncaster airport, so I'm gonna head over there on the train and go from there, I think (Unless anyone has a better plan?).
  22. I think the navigation bar under the banner needs more emphasis. I didn't notice it for ages. Or possibly have those bits incorporated into the left hand bar (with a "products" section that is expanded containing what's in the left bar at the moment. Having two nav bars is a bit pointless if you ask me. I'm liking the "passionate iterative evolution"

    Cheap Airlines

What are the cheapest airlines you can get. I need to get to Jersey from Manchester preferably (although I can travel if it's gonna work out loads cheaper), and the cheapest flight I can find is £146  I've tried: Easyjet FlyBe BMI Baby Are there any other cheap airlines? Tar!
