I don't really get what all the fuss is about to be honest. The makers of the game were obviously aware of what they were doing, and the slow-motion walking was done to emphasize the surreal-ness of it. It's entirely fictional, and you see exactly the same thing happen in films/books. People have a hang up about games but at the end of the day they're no different to any other medium of story-telling? Hmmm, yeah. Maybe you won't see so many people with level10 prestige on this one. Although with COD4, the guns you start out with are shite and it definitely hampers you and ruins your KDR. But with MW2, the guns you get at the start (famas, M4) are pretty decent so you wouldn't be at that much of a disadvantage?

I did that with COD4 but I found that going through the whole game again was actually easier - even on the harder difficulty. So this time I jumped straight into Veteran. It's hard The single player game for me seems a bit unecessary. I'll play it once through but it's all about online.

So it's some shitty online pyramid scheme? No thanks.

I always see your score on the leaderboards and think you must be a bitch of a camper / sniper. Say it ain't so? I'm doing OK - my ratio is more than 1 which took over 6000 kills on COD4! But I don't know the maps very well so keep getting pwned really easily.

Is that easy to do? What do fuel relay switches do? Yeah for a long time I thought it was the distributor / leads, and I've tried spraying the leads with WD40 and it didn't help. Also the RAC man apparently checked the leads and they were all sparking which makes me think it's something else?

This problem sounds exactly like my car! For me, it only happens when it's raining. My car has been 100% reliable in the dry, but when it's very wet outside I can almost guarantee this problem will happen within about 0.5 miles of my drive. I put my foot down, and the car splutters, the revs drop and sometimes they'll drop off so far it'll stall. When it stalls, it won't start again for at least 5-10 minutes, at which point it seems to start reluctantly and splutter some more for a while, taking another 10 mins or so to get up to being 'normal' again, and then it'll have no problems for the rest of the journey. I've taken the car to a garage, and they couldn't find the source of the problem. There is actual money involved if someone on here can get to the bottom of this! A couple of things: When my car died the other day (same reason) the RAC man turned up and had a play. He reckoned it was still sparking OK. When he opened the cylinder he was expecting that we'd flooded the engine (by trying to start it lots) but the cylinders were apparently dry. All this makes me think it's a problem with the fuel pump?! Perhaps the electrics of the fuel pump (because of the association with water) But I'm no mechanic, and I'm sure it could be lots of other things? Car is a VW Polo 6n 1998 R reg 1.6l petrol 75 BHP engine manual. P.S. Sorry if this is a semi-thread hijack.

I just bought this - so far I'm really liking it! Have only played online though. Anyone with xbox wants to add me: Fluid609

I've got a friend who's got a mini-DH. He rides it XC and has a separate bike for DH so he'll tell you that the supreme ("mini DH") is not a DH bike. It's close though, it's just not quite quishy enough for full-on DH. Ideal if you might sometimes have to ride up though. As for the Trek, I think they look awesome. Have you seen the Session 88 FR? It's basically the same frame as the DH version but single-crown forks (Totems) and slightly different drivetrain etc. Looks really nice! Might be a bit expensive still though? EDIT: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/trek/s...n-bike-ec016525

The Meta 666 is just a slightly longer travel version of the 55. It's not even 1" more travel, and the angles are pretty much the same. Compared with a Coiler which is built like a tank, the Meta is flimsy by comparison. Likewise the Commie Supreme is the same amount of travel as a 666 but much beefier. It depends what you wanna ride. There's plenty of stuff even in the UK to justify a DH bike if that's the kind of riding you enjoy.

So... Better or worse than COD4 for online?
-
Which you pretty much always have to do. My friend got into a lot of shit for crashing at low speed into a fence post on a country lane. Minimal damage so he didn't stop. Next thing he knew about it was a court summons for criminal damage, failure to stop at the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident
-
They're also not really freeride bikes - more aggressive XC/All Mountain (urgh, I hate using those phrases but it kinda sums up what they're about). I wouldn't ride one if all I did was hucks/DH, they're too lightweight and the angles are completely wrong.
-
You can, a bit. But in the video on the website it talks about changing the i2i of the shock, along with the fork, for different travel variations.

The best name in the world, bar none, is owned by an American solider. Wait for it: Staff Sgt. Max Fightmaster. f**k yeah.

Went to Sainsbury's this evening and they had sold out Does anyone know if the low price is going to stay low?
-
I'm adding Inglourious Basterds to this list

Blimey! Not bad for a few hours work. I wonder how much a big fat cheque pushed him to do things he otherwise wouldn't have (E.g. that huuuuge gap). Yeah exactly. Anyway, from what I've seen of the BMX scene they'd moan just as much if BMX was in an advert - calling the rider a sellout no doubt. Bunch of moaning c**ts
-
Yeah I know, weird I haven't ridden one and I'm not convinced they'd actually be any good - it's just a kona-style single linkage really, and any bike that has geometry made to go from 135mm to 180mm travel has to compromise somewhere. Still, they do look pretty.
-
I think these look pretty nice: http://scottusa.com/gb_en/product/7937/44811/voltage_fr_20 Pretty much every brand has a 6-7" freeride bike in their lineup. Pick one I always liked the Spesh SX Trail. http://www.specialized.com/gb/en/bc/SBCBkM...mp;menuItemId=0

When my XC frame was sent back under warranty, I built up the trailstar as an XC bike with my Pikes and decent drivetrain etc. It was actually really fun! A bit short for full days but a total laugh. I haven't built it back up as a jump bike yet - it needs a few new pieces and I haven't got round to buying them.
-
I would always go second hand on a bike like this. I built up a trailstar with DJ3s, Hope wheels for under £200 using bits I had lying around (cranks, pedals, brakes, bars etc) - Thanks to Mike, actually. It would be similar to that Rhythm you've got there, if not higher spec. People say you only need a back brake but I can't ride without a front brake. Maybe it's my trials rider tendencies.

Some men hunt for sport, Others hunt for food, The only thing I'm hunting for, Is an outfit that looks good... See my vest, see my vest, Made from real gorilla chest, Feel this sweater, there's no better, Than authentic Irish setter. See this hat, 'twas my cat, My evening wear - vampire bat, These white slippers are albino African endangered rhino. Grizzly bear underwear, Turtles' necks, I've got my share, Beret of poodle, on my noodle It shall rest, Try my red robin suit, It comes one breast or two, See my vest, see my vest, See my vest. Like my loafers? Former gophers - It was that or skin my chauffeurs, But a greyhound fur tuxedo Would be best, So let's prepare these dogs, Kill two for matching clogs, See my vest, see my vest, Oh please, won't you see my vest.

It's not often you see bikes in general. Mountain bikes in all their various forms, BMX etc - this is f**king cool. Nice one Danny

We get one of these every year. It's kinda boring really - It's pretty twattish to be some spoilt smug teenage bitch bragging about what they're going to get, but the following comments (I only ever get some driftwood and Christmas dinner consists of rice and cabbage) are almost as annoying. In conclusion - you're all twats Use the search if you want to see a whole load of jealous / smug bitching.
