  1. That picture was just one I found online. I think it's from Counterstrike, it was just to demonstrate.
  2. Sorry for the noob question, but how do you get a white gun? I've seen people with black and white guns but not sure how they get it. Half black, half white. Like this:
  3. Yes, but you're failing to see the difference between "quite fast for some kid on a fixie" and "Olympic pace"
  4. I think he's based in America, so I'm not sure he'll be able to get a Boardman or similar.
  5. No, you're not. You're just some guy that rides a bike around London. And then exagerrates on internet forums about how fast you are.

    Marijuana

I'm not even going to dignify that with an answer.

Chucking cigarette butts on the ground is f**king disgusting. I don't get why people think it's OK. Smokers are Jokers
  8. I spent ages trying to make one of those things with plastic runners for direction. It basically wouldn't move fast enough. A plain skateboard deck is probably the way to go for a simple one, but don't expect to turn! In that video, I didn't see any turns anyway? I've seen a few people using those things and properly ripping. Carved turns and bombing down a hill. Looks pretty sketchy at high speed but fun!
  9. If you go on most MTB forums, you'll get abuse for posting something that's not in this year's trendy colourway. It's good to see people riding bikes that are old school! Like the Marin above, and that SX trail
  10. And actually you have no idea because you haven't thought about it yet, and won't for another two weeks

    Blu-ray Or Hd-dvd

You're about a year late I don't think Blu Ray will last for anything like 10 years. Physical media is dead!
  12. Well done for somehow finding that on a website that appears to be a forum for a group of convicted paedophiles http://falseallegations.com/
  13. It's possible that the "multimedia controller" and "Other PCI Bridge Device" are actually network cards, with incorrect drivers. Seems strange that you can't find drivers though.
  14. Don't? Can't? Whatever, isn't there some pub you ought to be in? It's the Irish Way. I'm really a southerner but I quite like the north. At least I like the hills and the valleys and the sea. The south's got none of that stuff (with the possible exception of sea. I think the south has some sea now?).
  15. From the Ipconfig it doesn't look as though the ethernet onboard it installed properly. Click on Start, then right click My Network Places, click properties. There should be icons for Local Area Network, Firewire etc. Printscreen what is there. Is there anything that says "Disabled" under it? If so you should be able to enable it by right-clicking. If there is only the wifi there, then try right clicking my computer / properties /hardware tab / device manager. Is there anything with a red cross or an exclamation mark? Particularly under the network adapters section (but maybe also in the other devices section).
  16. That's a difficult question to answer exactly, but the criteria for diagnosing depression* are perhaps deeper than you realise, and include taking into account mood, behaviour, sleep patterns, eating, hopelessness, the feeling of not enjoying those things that you previously did etc, previous episodes and events that may be related. For examply, if a parent dies (particulaly suddenly/unexpectedly) then most people will feel extremely low for a number of weeks/months. But that's a normal response, and wouldn't necessarily be treated the same way. *NB When done properly! Not all doctors will be as conscientious as this, particularly given time constraints in GP surgeries. The way I see it: People have a set mood point. Some days I'm happy, other days not as much, but I generally fluctuate around an average "feeling-pretty-content" state. If I have a shit day, I'll feel rubbish but then I'll revert back to normal in a day or so. Why do I flip back to normal though? I cannot explain this. What if my set mood point just dipped for one reason or another? Then I would be constantly low mood. If it was easy to increase our mood by ourselves, we would presumably all be wandering around in a state of absolute bliss, but these things are impossible to characterise and difficult to affect. People have done trials looking at lottery winners. They test their mood immediately after winning and they're understandably happy. This lasts for a few weeks / months, but after about a year or so, most lottery winners revert back to their pre-win happiness levels. This just proves that you can't always affect your set mood point by changing your situation.
  17. They definitely do look nice. I'm completely unconvinced by "Bite point adjustment" on discs - it seems like something that manufacturers can charge a stupid amount of money for. It's NOT the same as TPA (the lever reach on discs tends to work differently to that on Mags) - on any half decent disc you can get the lever to exactly where you want it using just reach adjust. The only difference is with bite point adjustment you can change how close the lever sits to the bar when you're not holding it. Which (if I'm riding my bike) is, uh, never?
  18. Yeah - also the logo isn't in the middle. I think it looks tacky, especially since it's not really lighter than a lightweight alloy hub.
  19. How the hell do Xbox live "parties" actually work? I don't understand how to organise a game (E.g. MW2) with other people from my friends list. It surely can't be hard? But the option to invite to game is always greyed out?
  20. Yeah but presumably you'd have to be super-rich to even consider donating £3k, and secondly have at least a passing interest in trials? There can't be THAT many people that fit into that bracket?
  21. Just finished the campaign on Veteran. Go me
