  1. The cheapest costume I've ever done is Backwards man. Just wear a suit backwards. So simple. Although you do need quite a large jacket to wear it backwards. Don't forget your protractor for your perfect circles.
  2. I don't particularly like the paint jobs. It just looks as though someone has wrapped electrical tape around the tubes. The stripes ruin them, I'd imagine they'd look good without them.
  3. I have AVG and Avast anitvirus, and I think Avast is the best of the two, it seems to find viruses where AVG can't, which makes it better to me. All free on Download.com aswell.
  4. Do you live in Cornwall or summet . £84 will get you 4 times over. That's what they pay me anyway
  5. That's what I thought, as longer forks would make it even slacker. Probably just a mistake. They look pretty good, such a big improvement over older models of Onza frames. Fairly reasonably priced to. Phil.
  6. I've just started to have a play with Corel paint shop pro. I've got an image I've re-sized but now I'm just left with a big transparent space around the image. It's so simple in Fireworks, I just press control+alt+F. That simply makes the canvas the same size as the image so I'm not left with any space around the image. I can't figure out how to do it in, the psp help or google don't help either. It's really bugging me and it's probably really simple but it's getting late and It's annoying me now. Ta.
  7. I'll see if I can come up. Probably decide on the day, see how hungover I am It's meant to be very windy on Sunday though, so depends about that really as it can get very windy in certain places in the Quarry.
  8. If you go into Hallfords and ignore the car spray paint section, go over to the bike section and find spray paint there. They have a few colours but they should have a floro yellow available which might not be too florescent, Give it a lil test spray.
  9. I won't be happy until it's 79.9p a liter. I doubt that's going to ever happen again though.
  10. I think he means the front brake is a bit noisy.
  11. Looking good Adam. The bike aswell ofcourse . I was thinking last night of doing exactly the same thing to exactly that rim. Looks good. Did you use something like a pillar drill or did you do it by hand with a handheld drill, looks really neat.
  12. So 2 people from the same place this has happened to? It's not possible for a frame to take 2 weeks as all frames are sent out by courier with guarenteed 24 hour delivery. If something is going to be delayed I always contact the customer and explain. Otherwise everything is sent out same day if ordered before the cut off time. If you can let me know your order numbers or your name I can check and find out why that would happen but I genuinely don't believe that could be Selectbikes fault, especially as I've never had anybody wait that long for Royal Mail to deliver they're order. I've looked through the database and I've had no orders from Sheringham anyway.
  13. I don't think just a slopped wall getting higher and higher is very good. I could find plenty of walls like that around the streets, that's just boring and seems a bit of a waste. There should just be lots of different height obstacles instead. Ride what you up against, the amount thats there and that's going to the there in the future, I'm sure people would be able to find something at their level and them improve on it rather than just having a sloped wall . Defo needs to be some concrete there, can't go wrong with that. Maybe some big tyres too standing on end, but then they could get burnt I suppose. The cotton reels that are they could be good, but at the moment some of the lines are a bit limited, maybe whack some concrete pipes between them a bit more. There is plenty there but they just need to be linked a little with something else. That brings me onto maybe mixing the obstacles a lot more. At the moment you have a log section, rock sections, cotton reels and some concrete beams. Maybe mix it all up, put some logs in with some rocks and some concrete pipes.
  14. Haha, that was such a good video. jack you beast. Loved it. Awsome quality and editing too Ben makes so much difference.
  15. Lil video with a blonde continental bird in it. http://tv.mpora.com/watch/wsdZo4Yau/'
  16. They will actually. I don't know where you've got that from . I'd help as much as possible and if I didn't know, I'd go measure something, check or make sure then return the call. I can't think of a time when I've never not been able to help somebody especially with a question about part compatability. All the orders are sent out next day delivery either 1st class or parcel force 24 if ordered before the cut off time for same day dispatch, if anything takes 2 days it's not down to the shop, it'll be down to Royal mail, unfortunately there are delays in their service sometimes. If you wanted a guaranteed next day delivery service anybody is welcome to upgrade from 1st class to special delivery, but it'll cost an extra £6.40 - £10 over the free postage and packaging Selectbikes does, which just isn't worth it most the time as 1st class delivery items arrive next day 96% of the time I think it is. Just thought I'd say that as I take a lot of effort to get things out for same day dispatch, even after the cut off time and even making a trip to the post office for the odd package that comes in late so I just get there before it shuts if I have the time, it's worth it, because even I hate waiting and extra day for bits. Phil.
  17. There aren't really any stations close by, I think Rochdale or Todmorden are the closest. If you where to hire a car it's only about a 45min drive. My and some others from Liverpool go up now and then, we where up there Yesterday infact, it's really simple to get to.
  18. Davetrials' video was the only proper kurb video there, one was just a very small wall, and the other used a slightly higher wall above the kurb. If people do it, make sure they are kurbs and kurbs only. The idea of using 2 kurbs on a 90 degree angle is good. I might have a go at this.
  19. Might pop up for a bit in the afternoon. If I do it's likely i'll phone that number you posted up, so keep your phone handy. Just to make sure people are still there really.
  20. Dave has fagged out. He can't afford it. Tuts. Thanks anyway though Simps, good offer
  21. I used to ride the odd few comps here and there and I'd try to get to the British champs. I've only done one this year. I'm not really fit enough to bother riding a comp these days, I do a few sections and I'm spannered, the one I done this year I really struggled and half way through the comp I really couldn't carry on and I've never felt like that before really. Just because I know my fitness will effect my riding so much I find theres no point at the moment. I don't mind traveling the distance, it can be a good laugh at most comps and a decent lil weekend away but when you have to go on your own it can be pretty boring and does end up costing a lot more, so that's half my problem. I'm also loosing interest in even thinking about competing, most of the time I'd rather bugger off and go out on a Saturday night then just go riding on Sunday near by, that to me is great so if I don't want to compete there's not really anything pushing me to go to comps.
  22. I checked that parking out and they're after £17 . Sod that. Anyone else have any ideas on a reasonably cheap way of parking all day?
  23. Ye I'd agree with that, It definitely is better for taps through my experience. I've changed how I tap lately and starting to get it back with the steeper head angle of my Ozonys, but I find a slacker head angle is kind of like tapping a slightly sloped wall, it does help. Although my front wheel moves didn't get any better with a sleeper head angle.
