  1. Fedex will deliver it by air for £146. Although I don't know why you don't take it with you as luggage/sport equipment.
  2. It's only Thursday isn't it? Happy Thursday.

    Neon 2010!

    Holy tyre clearance.
  4. Haha, sorry. I'm just trying to explain what you were saying sounded like. I think it makes sense.
  5. you said "Almost definitely not. There are billions of internet users, who do you think is sat there looking at your searches?" Which implies you don't believe you would get caught doing it because you don't believe there is someone "sat there looking at your searches". Because you don't think there's someone sat there, that's why you won't get caught. Which implies if you did get caught, it'd be by the bloke "sat there looking at your searches".
  6. I think it's funny you think there's a bloke sat at a desk looking at everyone's searches. I do think if certain things are searched for a few times then that will flag something at MI5. The same with phone calls. Type in "underage 12 year old sex video" loads of times. Go on, give it a try, see what happens. Probably nothing if the internet security man is a paedophile. I think MI5, MOD, FBI have much better spying/monitoring techniques than just flagging a user when certain words are searched anyway.
  7. I think the Suntour forks will be ok. They get a bad rep because of the cheap forks they put on cheap atb's get abused. The Duro forks will be good. And with magnesium legs, relatively lightweight aswell as adjustable travel and rebound. Although it doesn't look like they have a lockout feature which might be good if you're planning on doing the odd bit of trials. If you do go for those forks, give me a shout as I can do them cheaper than £175.
  8. Jonny, you're going to break that poor guys bike, you're as wide as it is tall . Who was that "Blood" on Saturday night by the way?
  9. That's the good thing about trials and this forum. 99% of the time you can trust them and everything is fine. Somehow I think it'd be a lot different if it was a motorcross or honda civic forum.
  10. He can't but Paypal can, if your Paypal balance is zero, they can even just take it straight out of your bank account as you've given them permission by having the Paypal account. Have fun trying to actually get the insurance money from Royal Mail. Unfortunately Paypal always takes the buyers side, otherwise they'll get a bad rep from the odd few who are actually telling the truth. Don't just refund him the money though, go through the dispute process. He might have honestly not recieved them, but atleast it isn't anything too expensive and you've learned from your misstake. Paypal is a nasty piece of work, it's like shitting, we have to go along with it.
  11. It's because you've not been riding for a while, as you said. You will get back into it and find your way again.
  12. I dunno where you've been going but I can get that stuff for free.
  13. Just started to dust the bike off and get back out on it. Ye, just pop up we'll get some evening rides on the go.
  14. I don't think this will be happening any time soon. But hopefully some time in the future. There are strong rumours freestyle BMX is being introduced to the 2012 Olympics. But that means other cycling events will have to be axed. There have already been a few track cycling events pulled from the London Olympics. So, if Trials was to get to the Olympics, they'd have to push another event out to make way.
  15. I don't particularly like it. Pictured backgrounds are never a good thing.
  16. Some girl pulled me once. I later found out she had a penis.
  17. Are you sure? Your cantis will require a lever with a shorter pull which will have more leverage over a V-brake lever. But the stopping power of a V-brake will be much better for trials. If you give me your Shimano XTR V-brakes and your canti V-brakes, I'd be pretty certain I can get the V-brakes to work better for trials. So I'd certainly say use a V-brake. If for whatever reason you think your cantis are more powerful, then why don't you just use them?
  18. Suerly not. The booster is actually higher than it's meant to be so there should be a lot of clearance. This sounds right. The fact that you've drilled the frame and tapped a thread into it doesn't really matter. I can't imagine the thread lasting very long anyway because of the thickness of the tubing. But I don't think you've ruined your frame. It's unlikely it'll affect the frame with only a 5mm hole in it. What you have done is voided your warranty and reduced the chances of ever selling your frame.
  19. Just realised, I don't know how I thought it was square taper cranks you have. I'll just leave it at that though.
  20. These other types of pullers have never worked for me. When you're working on cheap shit cheesey chainsets it's quite common for the thread to just pull out, especially if the cranks are slightly seized onto the BB. I wouldn't expect it to happen with Middleburn cranks though . Anyway, hammer and wood will never work, unless your cranks are loose. The best thing to do is just ride your bike as normal without your crank bolt in. As soon as you feel it's slightly loose, you can knock it off. Shouldn't take long, just go for a bit of a ride out (not doing trials).
