  1. Woops. I blame superman for that. I actually read it as powder. I must have forgot when I went to write about it.
  2. Either I'm dyslexic or you have Irish dyslexia. It does say Black Powder.
  3. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-gen...rles-darwin/4od A scientist is basically arguing the case for evolution, he has to put up with the whole "because it's obvious" kind of attitude. It's a good watch and watching the Christians he interviews just makes me think "how can they be so stupid" so it's kind of funny in that sense. It basically sums up everything in this topic, there is no argument or debate regarding evolution, it happened.
  4. If the fork has a post mount and the Hayes brake has a post mount it will just bolt straight on if it's a 6" rotor. If the Hayes brake has an adapter on just take it off. If it's actually an IS mount brake you just need a PM to IS adaptor. All the post mount to post mount adaptors are just a bunch of spacers and slightly longer bolts so you wouldn't need one of them. I can't really see any problem so it might be just how you've explained it. Explain again in more detail or put some pictures up.
  5. It's nothing to do with helium. It's for: "The trials frame's downtube features an air valve and pressure gauge for the ultimate in ride-tuning. Adjusting air pressure changes impact feel and response, for that extra edge." So we can all still laugh at Pete Wright .
  6. Could have involved the two Red Bull girls a bit more, tuts.
  7. He did pay first didn't he?
  8. Grab the mouse in your left hand and go to shake it's mousey hand, wait until it moves to shake yours then turn away and continue using it.
  9. He might be hard, but he's a f**king idiot.
  10. So you've found one of the thousands of domain websites that give whois data out. It's the same for any website. You can search for the details of Argos and it'd tell you the details. Ofcourse they might have paid the extra £15 or so to keep the info private, but it's not exactly a discovery.
  11. You are with splined interfaces (ISIS, Octalink etc). With square taper you don't normally have to but you can i.e It won't do any harm. So I'd whack a bit of grease on the splines. If you have caged pedals, make sure the bolts are tight. Check your dropouts and back wheel, make sure it's all clean and tightening properly. Do these easy things first. If the problem is still there, start changing bits around. Start with the pedals, then the cranks, then the BB, you'll find the problem eventually. It could also be a crack, but it could also be your bars/stem or front wheel.
  12. I don't think that matters, Paypal can take the money back out of your bank account. You just need to get intouch with Paypal, show proof you've posted it and they'll probably reverse the chargeback. There is a phone number for Paypal lurking about. Infact possibly this - 0870 730 7191
  13. Tools> Add ons> Double click on the application and the settings come up. That's if you've installed it.
  14. I love you for making me aware of this. God it's good.
  15. If God did suddenly appear and prove to exist it would probably mean atleast another 50% of people will be murdered in some bloody war.
  16. Sod the oak floor, we have more important things to do like... find God.
  17. BMX 101. Always land 2 wheels flat. Fair play though, I bet it looked bigger being there.
  18. I still haven't found God. Is he hiding?
  19. Loctite is fine, I was just saying if you wanted to save some pennies get a cheaper brand of thread lock.
  20. Get some better cranks? Seriously though. Left hand cranks have a tendancy to come loose. As soon as they come loose they start to splay the taper on the cranks (guessing you have square taper interface) ending up in a rounded taper over time. I'd first try a different bolt in, if you're struggling to tighten it properly try using a 14mm end bolt and tighten it up with a socket wrench, if you still find it comes loose, try some thread lock on the threads (or loctite if you want to get ripped off). If you've knackered the taper on the cranks already and you don't fancy buying any new cranks you can try cutting some old drink cans up into 4 peices and placing it on each flat and then trying the crank on. Or try some thread lock on the taper.
  21. Urk, I disslike having to explain jokes. Basically, you would have drank all the beer, been pretty smashed in which case she could possibly look ok in some weird tooth fetish way.
  22. If you would have shown an empty fridge with this, we would have let you off.
  23. Some people ride around Hathersage (Stanage Edge) on the rocks there. I used to go up now and then and saw a few others riding at the time, very good place to go though. Otherwise there's Bracken Rocks down near Matlock where plenty of big competitions are held and a lot of people ride at.
