Wow I love all of those pictures, very impressive. My favourite is the 3rd one (sidehop). I just love the way he is centred in the frame and the angle of him on his bike and where it was taken from.

I know what you mean, I have been running the heatsink coust pads for about two months now and I am not overly impressed. I ground my rim just before I put them on (harsh grind on a BMF rim, decent grade alloy) and they werent too good (squeaky but little lock). After a few days they bedded in and worked pretty well, not as good as I expected but good in general. Now they just make a shitty swooshing aound and arent very confidence inspiring at all. They stop the wheel fine, but lack the power I got from my hetasink blues which seem to have had the same wear rate. From what I heard of the old pads they were amazing, but the new 50mm ones are so so.

Lol mint little video, looks like it was a mint couple of days.

Harsh, many people think that trials in generally looks gay, people hopping around like loons on bikes, its not exactly seen as 'cool' by most people is it! The videos are cool, looks bloody hard.

Ditto, I bought a pair for £15 nearly a year ago now and I only used them a month or so for riding before I bought my try-all shoes and they were OK. I still have them now, I wear them everyday and sometimes ride in them when I cant be bothered to put my try-alls on (I like sliding shoes on and off, Im lazy) and I cant fault them, especially for how cheap they are. I have to say though my try-all boots, despite what some people say, have lasted me a long while and I use them heavily. The only signs of wear are the small grooves in the soles where my pedal pins have been.

Both good videos, thanks for posting. I liked the street one a little more, because the riders were more relaxed just trying to see who can do the biggest move or whatever.

Cleethorpes Ride....well Worth A Look In....
Luke Drewery replied to James Hart's topic in Riding Pictures
Nice pics there, looks like some good riding went down. I wish it didn't rain the first day as I went but the rain wouldn't stop so I went home, and I had an interview for an apprenticeship on the second day. -
Nice, I think you should just post the finished video though. That tap you did near the end was massive.

Apparently he is not making a koxx days video, thats why he wanted people to stop asking him. He said on OTN that he didint get that much footage, and what he did get is going in the moment DVD, not an internet video.

Cool, I have just checked the weather for tommorow and it says light rain on all the sites (BBC, weather.co.uk etc) bt it should be OK. -
Very good video, loved every element of it, the filming was good, the editing was good and the riding was excellent. I love the combination of street/freeride and trials, its good to watch. I loved the way it was just them and the quiet streets at night, and the chilled backgroiund music topped it off. I felt sick for Petr when he gapped from that wall onto that very small square on the roof of a house, 180'ed then hopped back up to the wall, if he fell he would have been royallt screwed. Such a good idea for a video overall. I laughed when they paid that hooker to let them hop over her.

I am listening to a Grey Area song at the mo, I dont know what the title is though as I downloaded it years ago.

Nice one, you taking your camera? Im bringing my brand new (got it on Saturday) Canon DV cam and my 54" Kodak tripod. -
I like that, looks perfect for smooth natural riding. For some reason I couldnt trust a vee brake on the back for big drop gaps, even though I know if they are set up right they can be better than maggies.
-
Not bad, the riding seemed to get much better towards the end with some nice sized sidehops. The editing and song were pretty good too.
-
Sorry mate, wasnt keen. Dont get me wrong the riding was good, especially for the bike you were riding on, but the song was god-damn awful and it didnt fit your riding style at all. The only people I feel that type of music works for is Neil Tunnicliffe and Craig Lee Scott as their riding is big and fast.

Wow look at me with three votes! :$

Ill be there on my Czar, so your not alone. -
From the album: General stuff
A pedal gap I did yesterday, from a clip going in my next video. (Y) -
Dont be so modest about your bike, its f**kin mint. I love the look of it, even if it is a bit feminine. If it rides anything like the other two monty 221ti discs that I have ridden (oakleys and billocks) then it will ride lovely.

Nice video, I liked that. I felt it was a tad long though, but nice work.
-
Nice video, I liked the chilled feel to it, with no music and all. Some good riding there.

You cant make a poll in this section of the forum I dont think, you might have to do it in trials chat. The admins/mods may be able to do it for you though.
